Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the compartment door trigger latch. This is going to replace the one damaged or worn out door trigger latch that is currently installed on your RV door. This is a flush mount design, so it will mount directly onto your surface. The overall links of this from the tip here all the way back, it's right about three and three quarters of an inch.
We're measuring just the bracket here. It's right about two inches by about an inch and five eights or just over an inch and a half.This is a very sturdy piece with metal construction feels pretty weighty in my hand. Not too much that it would cause problems, but it just feels very solid. You can see we've got nice large holes here to mount this in place. They are going to include the hardware to get it all mounted the way that you need to.
