Can I Use The Same Turnover Ball Hitch From My 96' Ram On My 08' Chevy 2500?

Question:

I have a BandW Turnover Ball and frame mount kit that was installed on a 96 Dodge Ram 2500 2nd Gen. I want to install this existing unit on a 2008 Silverado 2500HD LTS Diesel. Are you able to sell me some frame brackets to retrofit this existing turnover ball to the 08 Chevy Silverado?

Hey Solon,

The B and W Turnover Ball kits for the 96' Ram and 08' Chevy use 2 different hitches, so the rails for your Chevy are not going to be compatible with the hitch portion of your current B and W Turnover Ball. If both hitches used the same hitch center piece you could, but you are going to have to go with the full gooseneck hitch for your 08' Chevy since they are not compatible. The hitch for your Chevy is the B and W # BWGNRK1067.

What are you going to be towing with this hitch?
