Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Taylor Made steel marine gas strut for boat hatches. This is going to replace one worn or damaged ball and socket gas strut from your boat's hatch lid or compartment door. This extends to ease the lifting of your hatch lid and it compresses to gently close your hatch lid without slamming. And this is a 13 millimeter ball and socket installation.
Simply attach to the ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. And this does not include those ball studs. So, if you are in need of those as well, I am including our item number on your screen to the Taylor Made 13 millimeter ball studs for gas struts. And just take that item number that you see on your screen and input that in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com, and that will take you to those ball studs if you are in need of them. Now, this is a heat treated steel construction, so it is durable.
And the corrosion resistant coating is not going to rust even in saltwater areas. And the length of this gas strut from socket to socket, we are sitting right at 36 inches long. And this has a compression force of 40 pounds. And you are going to get one gas strut. That's gonna conclude our brief look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
