Hi, friends, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV designer gas strut. Now this is a gas strut, kind of like the support arm that you see holding up things like your RV doors, truck cabs, or storage compartments. So its main job is to make opening and closing smoother, easier, and a whole lot safer. This is built to last. It has a durable black finish and retrieving my tape measure here.
Measuring center of socket to center of socket. As you can see, we're at a foot, 12 inches, and this is going to give you about 30 pounds of lifting force, which is going to help take some of that weight off when you lift something like a cargo door, bed platform. So instead of it slamming shut, this struts gonna close the movement. Control the movement rather. So it's gonna open easily and close it in a more controlled way.
This does not include any hardware, so this is a ball socket insulation. This will just attach to your current ball studs. But I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name's Andy, thank you for joining me.
