Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at the CIPA replacement manual driver's side mirror. Now, if you need to replace the driver's side mirror on your 1989 to 1995 Toyota pickup, this is going to be what you need. This is a direct replacement. It is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. And on your screen, I am also including the original equipment number if you are in need of that.
And this mirror features a manual face adjustment. So you're just gonna simply move it with your hand to whatever orientation you need it for the best view behind you. And this OE grade flat glass with first surface plating is going to reflect a clear image for you. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and the flat lens reflects a true representation of the object size. This is durable.
It's constructed of ABS plastic with this black finish. And you can paint this mirror, depending on what color you would like to best match your truck. And these components come separated for easy painting, if need be, before you put it all together. And this features a breakaway design. So the mirror's going to fold in when struck to deter damage to the mirror and hopefully to whatever you hit that would move this mirror back.
And this is going to be a very simple bolt-on installation. You're not gonna have to do any drilling. It is going to use your existing hardware. So please be aware that this does not come with any hardware. You would use your existing hardware from your original mirror that you're replacing.
And so you are going to receive this one driver's side mirror. And if you are also in need of the passenger side, the good news is we do carry that as well. Big disappointment! The mirror vibrates constantly and is extremely annoying. Only the glass vibrates, the outer black case is fine. However, this means the image is vibrating a lot all the time. It was easy to put on and has stayed in place with no problem. I dont use the truck regularly so I havent replaced it yet, but I need to look for a replacement from somewhere else.
