Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer gas strut. So this is a gas strut. It's kind of like a support arm that you see holding up things like RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. Its main job is to make opening and closing smoother, safer, and a whole lot easier. This is built to last.
It has a durable black finish. Lining this up here, I wanna show you the overall length. So center of socket to center of socket, 16 inches. This is gonna give you about 60 pounds, 6-0, of lifting force. That's gonna help take some of the weight off when you lift something like a cargo door or bed platform.
Instead of it slamming shut, this strut is going to control the movement, so it's gonna open easily and close in a more controlled way. This is going to attach to your current ball studs. This does not include additional ball studs, so this will use your current hardware. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me.
