What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this door holder from JR Products. It's gonna be stainless steel, it's gonna be four inches long, and what it's gonna do is it's gonna help you keep that door open when you're inside the trailer or working around it. Let's check it out. Checking out how it works, it's got the four-inch stainless-steel arm that's gonna hook into the catch here, and that's what's gonna keep the door in place. So as I bring the door closer to it, and I'm trying to stay outta the way so you can see it, it just goes in there.
The arm goes in the bigger portion there, slides back, and that's what keeps it holding in place. It's gonna be constructed out of a stainless steel, so you know it's gonna hold up on the outside of your trailer, The elements shouldn't bug it. It should last way longer and look nicer than the old ones, which are off there. Speaking on which, let's check out how we did that. Looking at the side of the trailer, you can see that our door hanger here has seen better days.
It's even missing some hardware, even some sealant on there on the backside, so make sure to replace that if that's what you're gonna go for when you go to replace your new one. Now we're gonna put our new door holder on there. So I'm gonna pop off these old ones here. Now, it does come with new hardware. We're not gonna use it this time.
That's more for if you wanna do it and install it in the doors to run it through. Our setup, we need the bolts to run through the other side and add a nut, so we're just gonna use the existing hardware because we need that long screw to put on there. So let's get started by removing the old stuff. So all I did was remove each one of the screws. There's gonna be four on each piece.
So I'm just gonna gonna back this off, last one, with our screwdriver. It's gonna release it, and that way, we can get it out the way to add our new stuff. So now we've got the new piece. I'm just gonna set that in the same place. All the holes line up. And we'll add the hardware. Our setup's a little different, like I said, because we're gonna put a nut on the backside. So I'm just putting the hardware in place first now. Now it's gonna be the same thing for this piece too. Run our bolts through. Once they line up. And then, I'm gonna get somebody to help me, and they're gonna hold the nut on the other side of the wrench while I tighten down this side with a screwdriver. Now I got it on there nice and tight. Let's see if the door latches. Now we're gonna open that door all the way. The door will latch. Looks like it's holding just fine. Overall, it's a definite improvement on our trailer. I mean, it looks better right out of the gate. Another thing would be that, since it's the stainless steel, it's not gonna rust, so I know that it's gonna last and look nice on the trailer for as long as it can. And I like these better than the plastic ones. You can get some of those that are between, like, white and black, and they're made out of plastic. And just looking at 'em, they don't seem as sturdy. They work, and they hold the door open, but I like seeing the stainless steel and knowing that it's gonna hold it in place and hold up. If the wind does catch the door, it'll pull on it a little bit tougher than it would. It's gonna hold up, and it's gonna keep that door open. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, and I hope this helped..

Keep your trailer door open while you're loading and unloading with this 4" T-style hook-and-keeper door holder. Stainless steel construction is rustproof and lasts longer than plastic holders. Mounting screws are included.I’m building an enclosed trailer with 2 doors in back & 1 on the side. These work great, especially if the wind kicks up.
Have not installed this yet but it is very nice looking and appears very well made. No doubt it will last much longer than the original equipment which was plastic. And came with new mounting screws as well!
Its hard for me to overstate the satisfaction I experienced with making this purchase. There may never be a greater sensation than this when ordering parts for a trailer. I greatly appreciate the prompt from etrailer, guiding me to an opportunity to expound on what I can only describe as a magical expericence.
Product appears to be heavy duty and will do the job.
Will install this weekend

Product works as expected. I did need to place a slight angle on it to match up when the door was open.
I opened the package and these door hold backs look like they are very solid and will do the job nicely.. Thank you for the fast shipping..
Works like a charm, all stainless steel construction. Thanks for your quick service!
I have an older enclosed trailer and the original door keepers were plastic. All three latches were broken or missing. It made sense to me to replace them with stainless steel ones. Installation was easy and they look fantastic!
Great stainless door hardware
Good products.
The product looks like it will be a great replacement of the broken plastic hook.
The original keeper hooks on my trailer were plastic and didn’t last long. The hooks I purchased from your company will last as long as I own the trailer.
I did have to make some adjustments to them but nothing major.
Decided to use a different style.
I've had it installed for a year now. Works excellent!
Solid build quality and materials. Exactly what I needed.
stainless steel is great, eliminates the rust issues
These were exactly what we were looking for to replace our existing yellow speakers. Perfect fit in our 2006 Kodiak Hybrid. Quick delivery and reasonable price.
High quality , no rust , heavy duty door holder for enclosed trailers !
I’m replacing plastic / nylon holders that had worn out . These are identical to the door holders on another high end featherlite trailer I have . The Stainless Steel finish is like it’s polished, no extrusion marks it’s Great Looking and should last a lifetime.
Perfect replacement for the 17 year old plastic door holders. Holds the door in place.
A fine product, fast shipping and smooth transaction.
Nice replacement part.
works great
Haven't install yet and still not sure if I can use it yet but bought 2 in case it worked and I'd have a spare.

Working Great!
Replaced gas cylinder that controlled door opening and which broke attachments and cylinders several times when the wind blew with this simple device. Works well and doesn't break in the wind. Winnebago learn a lesson.
All items are of very good quality and competitively priced. But I am disappointed with T-style Hook & door holder. If catch and "T" are mounted the same vertically, "T" will not fit into the catch. I think it is a design defect rather than mfg. Apparently assumes catch mount will be 2-3 inches higher than "T" mount and door will be held much closer than 4" to side wall. I will try to fix by blacksmithing but would rather not have to.
This is a high quality part, fit my trailer perfectly. Nice replacement for the plastic door keeper that just doesn't last in the sunlight for very long.
