3" Diameter ball fits in your truck's factory-installed underbed gooseneck trailer hitch. Easy-to-use ball-bearing locking system is secure and makes inserting and removing the ball simple. Chrome-plated steel is corrosion resistant.

Product seems well built over all except for the latch keeping retaining pins in place. Could have a little mire resistence so it doesnt come disengaged so easily

The original 30k ball we had on our 2022 Chevy 3500 was rusted in place, but after a lot of elbow grease we were finally able to get it removed. This ball is a perfect replacement and upgrade to 38k. Great quality, and fits perfectly. Thank you!

- Troubleshooting Loose Gooseneck Ball on 2019 Ram 3500There shouldn't be any significant "slop" or play with your Curt Ball # C60618. It sounds like once you lock the ball in place with the integrated lever you are still able to move it quite a bit. However, a little bit of movement is normal. If you watch the installation video for the Curt ball below starting at the 1 minute mark, you can see how much movement is normal. Works as expected as long as you keep applying oil through the whole in the bottom on a regular basis. My third ball in a short time because it will seize up if you don’t and then you have to beat and pry it off, destroying it.
