Today we're going to take a look at the Curt 00:00:01 600 Series Gooseneck Installation Kit for Chevrolet and GMC trucks. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 series trucks. It does work on the 6.5ft and 8ft bed models. Now, on our custom fit, I always like to recommend you go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year, model, vehicle and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, for this video, I've gone and installed the side plates to the cross fenders just to give you an idea of what this looks like put together.
The only thing missing is the gooseneck hitch that goes right here in the middle. Now this kit will include all the necessary components for installation of your Curt Underbed Gooseneck Hitch on your specific pickup truck model, comes with all the hardware. It comes with a nice set of installation instructions. Now it is designed to fit . You can use 3 different Curt Gooseneck Hitches on this and we do sell those separately on our website. The first one is the Curt Double Lock Flip and Store Gooseneck Hitch, you can use the Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch or the Curt Underbed Folding Gooseneck Hitch.
Again all 3 of those will work on this and they are sold separately on our website. Now this is a vehicle specific design so it does optimize the strength and installation time. It is constructed of a high strength steel. All the parts are protected by a rust resistant liquid Bonderite 00:01:22 coating and again I mention it includes all the grade 8 mounting hardware. Now there is no welding or frame drilling required and the Truckbed does not need to be removed for installation. These parts are made in the USA and one last note, now the weight capacity on this kit will be determined by that of the vehicle that you're installing it on but that should do it on the review of the Curt 600 series Gosseneck Installation Kit for the Chevrolet and GMC Trucks..
