Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

As it said in the video, cutting the hole in the plastic under plate, prove to be PIA! But I made a template out of cardboard, which made the job very professional looking!
Super easy install, I don’t have the tool for removing the push pins, so I used needle nose pliers. It worked fine. Hardest part was putting the shroud back on. 45 minutes for installation. Snow plow arrives next week.

still working great! Snow plow slides right in, so it provides quick and easy installation and removal.
Fast shipping. Easy to install. Excellent addition to the Jeep Gladiator.
I'm off to overland in Texas and wanted you to know that the hitch and winch carrier are perfect. Using quick connectors, I can use ir on the front and rear.
Removing it also saves on gas.
It works great with a moulded number, saving on buying a specialized steel bumper and other expensive attachments.
I like that I can still have all the internal mud guards and brush cover without having to take them off and not be able to have them on.
Awesome!
Very good product. I wish I would have know that the 8 push in retaining tabs for the plastic air dam were hard to install as I would have bought the tool to install them. There is no room to get your fingers in there to reset them. It took almost as long to put those 8 plastic retaining tabs back in as it took to remove everything and install the hitch. I did cut the metal air deflector to use part of it to hold the bottom bolts as it was very flimsy relying on just the 8 plastic tabs to hold it in place. I flatten the the metal pieces I cut so it would not interfere with the torque rating on the front bottom bolts. The unit is very solid and holds my fishing, bike and cargo racks very well. The handle nuts are different and I had to cut the lower one as it stuck out 2-1/2" below the frame. There is room and access points to use regular nuts on the JL. Trimming the plastic air dam took a little work as the measurements are at an angle and had to trim it in place for the final fit. Looks nice, I have to touch up where I scrape off some paint. It took 1-1/2 hours but like I said without the proper tool took it me 35 minutes to install the plastic retaining tabs. I started at 5:30 AM, so it was fight them back on or wait for the auto parts store to open at 9:00 AM, buy or borrow the tool before you start and save some aggravation. Once again great product and etrailer as it was delivered a day early. I would recommend this product and etrailer to others.

It is working out very well. People ask how my cooler fishing rack is attached and I show them the front hitch and they like it and I told them where I got it from. I have used it once for the bike rack up front. I also used it twice fro my cargo rack. I am very happy with the product.
This is a high quality hitch that fits the Gladiator perfectly. The hardest part of the installation was removing and reinstalling the push fasteners on the plastic air dam. While the hitch fit is perfect, the instructions for cutting the plastic air dam leave something to be desired. I finally had to eyeball the location for the hole and then found that the suggested utility knife simply wouldn't cut the plastic air dam. An oscillating saw solved the cutting problem easily and the best guess location worked out. Am I happy with the end result? You bet! Would I do it again? Absolutely.

Perfect. Use it to move around boat, cargo and utility trailers. Starting its second season mounting a Sno Way plow. Still like the day it was installed.
Very handy for moving trailers around
Great hitch. No rust No struggles. I keep my rod holder on it all the time unless I’m pushing my boat into a spot then I use the front hitch.
Installed in an afternoon. Was able to use an AutoZone torque wrench for free to install appropriately. Snowplowed my ¼ mile driveway all winter in WI. Worked as stated. Cutting plastic trim on my standard Jeep was a little tricky-to make it look nice. Would be nice if you included a rubber hitch plug.
I was surprised that there is no way to fasten the plastic front shield back on - the two screw holes are removed for the lower bolts when the metal wind guard is removed....I ended up using some tie wraps......a hoaky prayer of a fix...otherwise the draw tite receiver is nice.

You are correct in that the removal of the metal wind dam does mean that that lower attachment bolts on the plastic front shield. are not used. With the hitch installed the front shield will hold in place without the lower attachment bolts. I recommend watching the video we have a 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler. At mark 6:02 we talk about the front fascia and the lower attachment bolts.
Have not had it installed yet. But it looks like it’s going to fit fine. Will send pictures when done!
Love it! Has not let me down! I use it to plow my driveway, & move my trailer! Extremely easy to install, as well.
Thank you!
2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JLU
Followed video for a quick/easy install. I did have to cut more out of plastic splash guard to clear the steel plate on hitch above receiver. I also only needed to use 2 spacer washers on the bottom bolts.
The Draw-Tite front mount hitch receiver was extremely easy to install on my JLU. To prep the Jeep, I removed the front plastic air dam and metal air dam before the hitch arrived. As a result, once the hitch arrived, installation took a lot less time.
I have yet to connect anything to the hitch receiver, but it seems to be a high quality item.
Fit perfectly.
It does fit the Rubicon, plenty of clearance around the anti sway disconnect motor . Needed to remove two support brackets for lower skid plate. Probably able to trim the skid plate to clear the receptacle end .
Placed my order for the Draw Tite front mount hitch on Monday came on Wednesday. I put it on Thursday morning. Fairly straight forward directions. Seems like it’s built strong. Another great deal from etrailer and draw tite! I’ll be using this for placing trailers in tight spots, and can also be used for a recovery point.
Very easy to install, seems to be good quality
Excellent fit clear instructions
Nice addition to the Jeep it’s very handy to have a hitch on the front now
Easiest install I ever did. Fits perfectly on a Rubicon with steel bumper. Reused a couple bolts and will take an angle grinder to the removed skid plate soon.
Great product, Thanks
Just received the front mount hitch receiver from eTrailer, haven’t installed but can tell it’s a quality item. Extremely impressed with eTrailer’s packaging technique to stabilize the receiver in the box for shipping. They have devised a system to hold the hitch assembly completely stable inside their heavy duty box to keep the heavy hitch from busting through during shipment. The complete assembly arrived without a scratch even though the shipper did manage to make some holes in the box. Excellent work eTrailer and first scratch on my receiver happens tomorrow while I am installing. My scratches are OK and hold my memories, but I don’t like other’s inflicting harm.
Hitch arrived very quickly. Heavy duty construction. Pre-fitment installation looks like it will fit my 2021 Jeep Rubicon. Receiver length looks good under the OEM front bumper! I'm tempted to go buy a snow plow now and plow the roads of Dallas, TX!

Still solid as a rock, no issues, nothing loose. Great Product!
Delivery cam promptly, box had damage and delivery but no damage was on the trailer mount. Install when smooth with no issues.
This Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver is NOT a perfect fit for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL. Then Side mount holes do NOT line up.

It sounds like you have a flexed hitch. Here is a help article that can guide you through steps to fix it.
Exactly what I needed. Only took an hour to install and I use it weekly.

Honestly, you killed it on this. 10 out of 10 - would recommend you as an installer 5 days a week and on Saturdays from 8-12, haha! It seriously looks great! Are you moving around a boat trailer with the new hitch?
