Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear floor mat has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech second row floor mats and how they fit on a 2021 Mazda CX-5. It's all one custom fit piece that stretches even over the hump to get you complete coverage of the second row of your CX-5. It's all laser measured, so it does fit the contours of our CX-5 super well. Nothing on the bottom that's gonna keep it in place, but because it is fit so well, the friction will keep it in place. It's really durable and it's a great solution for keeping the back row clean.
So let's take a closer look at what it's made of and how it works. The mats are made of a durable thermoplastic material which is gonna hold up to getting in and out, as well as a variety of different spills. You can see that there is this wall design that goes around all the contours, including the back and the front. So if you do spill some things in here, or maybe you get an accumulation of dirt, debris, leaves, whatever it is, it's not going to extend into the interior of your vehicle. It'll all funnel, especially with these ridges here, into place and you can just take the mat out, hose it off, and put them right back in.
One thing to consider is that although we do get that full coverage with the one piece design getting the mats in and out, you do have to manipulate and bend them a little bit. So if you do have fresh spill or a lot of debris built up, I'd recommend trying to find a way to maybe clean that up or dry that up with a towel, or vacuum it up if it's just debris, because like I mentioned, you're probably gonna have to tilt it and you could risk spilling that back into the inside of the vehicle while you're trying to get the mat out. As I mentioned, there are no anchor points. There's nothing on the bottom of the mat that's going to keep it in place, just smooth. There are some ridges but that's just the outline of the ones up top.
So when you get these, they're probably gonna be a little bit stored memory in there, 'cause they're gonna come in a box folded together. So we've had ours for a little bit and they've had some time for the memory to get out, but you can see still here in the back, it's not a completely flush fit. So when you get these, they're gonna take a little bit of time to form around all those contours. You can leave them in the car on especially a warm day and that'll help them sort of decompress and fit into those spaces, but it might take just a little bit. Overall, if you have maybe a family, maybe you have some kids that you're bringing to and from practice or you live an outdoorsy lifestyle, maybe you have a dog or anything that you want, or you don't want to leave, stains, messes anything that's going to take away from the overall value of your vehicle over time, there's really no going wrong with the WeatherTech rear liner, especially because it does give you that complete coverage with the middle hump.
So something we definitely would recommend picking up if you're looking for a way to make it so that you're not leaving those stains or debris in the back of your car and you want a solution that's easy to just pop out and clean off instead. But that'll do it for our look at the WeatherTech second row floor mats and how they fit for a 2021 Mazda CX-5.
