Today we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart Dual Arm J-Hook for E-Track and X-Track Systems. Offering dual rubber-coated hooks and a 200-pound capacity, the part number is 3481703. Now, this J hook's been designed to help you out with cargo management. Clearly, with trailers or garages, we've got a lot of stuff laying around. This is just one really good solution and a way to get stuff up and off the ground or get it in a particular area where you want. This hook's going to work with all E-track or X-track design systems.
You can see the standard release up here. It works with any E-track and X-track. You're going to be using this if you're using the E-track in the vertical position. We want the up and down opening rather than the side to side. Just something to keep in mind.
See, the hooks have a nice, thick rubber coating on it so if you are trying to hang anything you don't necessarily want scratched or damaged that will offer good protection.You can see the gray powder coats. It's going to cover any of the exposed steel areas. And good welding here on the side where it connects to the E-track, so it gives us that 200-pound capacity. All in all, it can provide a really good solution. The benefit to the dual hooks, so when you put something on it flat, like say this dolly, we're not going to have that rocking motion back and forth.
It's going to offer a little support on each side. I like the larger design that this hook offers. It gives us good depth, so we're able to get several items on there. You can see we've got our dolly here, our air hose behind it. But you could put several different items on there and get them secured up and out of the way.Now, as far as the amount of space you'll need to mount your hook, from the surface of your track to the outermost edge here, you're looking at about 7".
For usable space from the edge here to the very tip here we've got 5". From the bottom here up to kind of an imaginary line between here and here we've got about 3 1/8". Now, as we've said before, straightforward, simple E-Track-style connection. We're going to pull out on that tab. That deeper area's going to go up. The bottom goes in and we'll just pull that down. That's going to have it locked in place. We don't have to worry about it going anywhere. That'll complete our look at the CargoSmart Dual Arm J-Hook, part number 3481703.
