It’s a clean, straightforward way to get a 4-flat connection for your trailer lights without altering the vehicle wiring.
The harness includes a powered converter that draws power directly from the vehicle battery through a fused black wire. That means the trailer lights run off their own dedicated circuit, protecting the vehicle’s sensitive electronics from overload. The converter only takes signal input from the tail light circuits but provides its own power to illuminate the trailer lights safely and reliably.
