AquaShed Cover Installed

You're worried about your horse trailer getting wet and dirty in storage before you need to transport your horses again. Whether you're storing your trailer in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your trailer will be protected. When you keep your trailer covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your trailer in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Adco AquaShed Material

The 3-ply SFS AquaShed top panel reduces moisture buildup that can damage your trailer over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your trailer. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly to minimize the development of mold and mildew. The top panel blocks the roof of your trailer from mild sunlight as well, protecting the cover from cracking and fading.

How to Measure Your Horse Trailer

Measuring a Horse Trailer

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your trailer from the very front to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any gear on the back. The cover isn't meant to fit over the kingpin of your trailer, so don't include it in your measurements. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of the trailer to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your Trailer

Adco AquaShed Straps

First unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your trailer, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. Once the cover is in place, wrap the elasticized hem on the cover around the bottom corners of your trailer to remove any excess slack in the material. Attach the included cinch rope and pull on them until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your trailer. And then toss the weighted straps underneath your trailer to the other side and buckle them together, which keeps the cover secure and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

Adco AquaShed Zippered Access Door

And if you need to grab supplies, you can use the zippered panel on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your horse trailer without having to completely remove the cover. You can also unzip the entire panel on the back of the trailer so you can open the tack door and load and unload gear.

Worked good until it ripped down the whole side and my whole trailer was out.

The cover does have a two-year warranty. I can send you the warranty details if you want to receive them.

It’s a great size, pretty easy to put on. Plenty of grommets and strings to tie it down. Unfortunately the material is very thin and flimsy. Feels like it’s made of the stuff that they make bedding packages out of…reminds me of disposable fabric packaging. One corner poked through that first winter.

This cover breathes to eliminate moisture build-up, mold, and mildew and works best for short-term storage in moderate climates with moderate moisture. I recommend putting foam blocks or pool noodles around sharp edges to ensure that it lasts a long time.

We are pleased with this purchase. Very nice material, well made & fits our trailer quite nicely. We would recommend it to others without hesitation.

This cover is poorly made, wouldn’t buy another... the cover didn’t last four months....

The cover carries a 2 year warranty. Please call our customer service folks at 800-298-8924

Held up good, even in the high winds last winter. Only problem was small tear from wear on a corner. Overall quality product.

Haven't had a chance to install yet. Would like to update my review when I get installed

Without a doubt the best cover I've found for my e-Pro f19 travel trailer. It fits like a custom cover and the price was extremely reasonable. Best features: Four snug-fit corners (just like bed sheets); at least seven (?) tightening straps underneath the unit which means you can safely tighten and secure against brisk winds; two flaps/straps across both the front and back of trailer, again securing against wind. And the smallest pieces are my favorite ... two weighted straps that help you toss each of the straps underneath to the other side! Brilliant! You will see a "bump" along the back end of the RV and that's where the ladder is covered. The roof covering fits well but with enough room to accommodate the ladder, a/c, bathroom vent, and antennae. I've told my camping friend about this cover and this web site. I check here first when I need anything for my RV. Thank you!

After the money we spent on your trailer cover, thought it would if lasted longer than one year? Disappointed to say the least, learn from experience we guess.

Real easy to put on trailer. The cover does a great job of keeping debris off the camper and looks brand new still after 1 full year.

We ordered this cover awhile back and just put in on our Motorhome
for the winter. It was quite easy to put on and it looks like it good quality
and hope it does its job. We will know in the spring.

Very well made easy to put on the truck. Fits great on my GMC Sierra 2500hd crew cab .

In the beginning, I was excited about the purchase. I knew the cover would keep my new trailer protected from the sun, etc. However, less than 3 months ago I noticed the material started to shed and become thinner on the roof. 2 months ago I noticed a small tear in front near the roof (no sharp edges there). Unfortunately the tear just got bigger and more disintegration of the roof. We took it off in preparing for the hurricane that came and in that process more of it just fell apart.
I am disappointed that the product only lasted a year. Now I need to figure out what to do to get a replacement. I prefer not to buy from your company knowing that the cover might only last a year.

Initially I was very satisfied with the cover. After 1 year there were some tears from the material flapping against the trailer body on the bottom edges. The 2 year anniversary just passed earlier this month (Oct 2023). This past weekend (Oct 22 2023) we had some mild winds, 15 - 20 mph. I noticed a tear had opened over the air vent (white plastic cover) in the dressing room area of the trailer. Later that morning, the entire cover roof ripped apart. See attached photos. I discovered that the trailer cover only has a two year warranty. I will start to look for another trailer cover manufacturer who uses better materials. Very disappointing.

After one year it has not held up at all. It falls apart in your hands. There are many holes from the wind and the sun has made it dry rotted. We were able to take it on and off twice and there would be one way to put it back on for a third time without it all just falling apart. To be fair we do live in the panhandle of Florida and do get a lot of sun and rain. We even put pool noodles around the rain gutters to try and prevent it cutting through the camper cover material, but after a while that’s exactly where the rips started from.

My second purchase as the first, although 3 times as expensive and from a popular company, just didn't fit (sized in 3 or 4 foot increments). This cover from AuquaShed fit great and looks great. The material is somewhat easily damaged on sharp edges so extra care is needed to cover corners and trim edges.

My husband just put the cover on, the trailer is in a tight spot, with little room to work with. He said, it was the easiest cover to put on our 2020 Geo-Pro 18'.It fit like a glove and since we get a lot of wind he loved the amount of straps that were easy to access. It has a wide zipper area on the side to access the door. He was pleased with the quality of the material and with the price.

I put the cover on a year ago, 24ft v-nose. haven't taken it off. Made it through Wisconsin winter and summer rain. A couple of rips from sharp corners on the trailer and me opening The back to access my rear ramp door. For the price I am happy with it. If I needed to remove and replace the cover frequently I would want something more durable, but for long-term storage to protect from the weather and sun, this works great.

This is how I found our camper cover after 1 season (6 mths) of storage on 5/22/23. The entire center disintegrated and fell apart. The material did not hold up at all.

This cover was put on my RV once and stored at my family’s due to temporary job relocation. My family sent me the attached photos after 15 months covered. Expected this cover to last longer than that.

The cover ripped in a couple of places due to out neglect. This year we secured each corner of the trailer with the little pouches provided to pad the drainspouts. That’s where sharp metal pieces cut the cover. Otherwise, the cover held up in the windy, blowing sand fall and winter weather of Carson City, NV. last year and we expect it to keep the trailer’s exterior in very good condition this fall/ winter.

We were so excited to receive it. It fit very nice and we were so happy to have our camper covered. Received it in September of 2022. The end of February 2023 shows what it looks like now. See attached photo. So very disappointed. Didn’t last even 6 months.

I love this cover! It is ample sized, fits my trailer well, is light weight enough for me to put on and take off of the trailer all by myself. It protects my trailer from the sun and snow. I really like the side zippers so I can get into the trailer without taking the cover off. The grey color also makes the trailer much less noticeable parked out with the other trailers.

  • How to Measure for a Gooseneck Horse Trailer Storage Cover
The loft on your gooseneck horse trailer will be included in the length measurement. Basically, you will need to measure from the longest two points on the trailer (see photo). However, the longest storage cover we have for a gooseneck horse trailer is the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Gooseneck Horse Trailer part # 290-46014 which fits trailers up to 34-1/2' long. If your trailer is longer than this then we would not have an option for you unfortunately.

  • Can 34-1/2' Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Gooseneck Horse Trailers be Used for Longer Trailer
The 34-1/2' Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Gooseneck Horse Trailers # 290-46014 has zippered panels on the side and at the back to help accommodate any doors that might be on a horse trailer. Since the back is a zippered panel you could, in theory, just keep it opened and slide the cover on leaving some of the back exposed like you mentioned. If you decide to do that though I'm not sure how snug the cover will fit since you're putting it on a trailer that is larger than it's meant to be on.

  • Recommended Tarp to Cover 38 Foot Long Gooseneck Trailer
For a tarp that should be large enough to cover your gooseneck trailer, I recommend looking at the Erickson Heavy-Duty Silver Tarp # EM57027. This all-purpose tarp measures 30 feet wide and 40 feet long. It features a reflective, silver-gray cover to prevent heat absorption and plastic-reinforced corners for excellent strength and durability. If you want something a bit larger, we also have the Erickson # EM57055, which measures 33 feet wide and 48 feet long. We do also have storage...
