Video Transcript for Review of the Dometic GO Water Jug Faucet

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Dometic Go water jug faucet. This battery powered faucet is going to transform your portable water container into a fully functional running water system. This faucet is going to turn on with a simple double tap, and the auto shutoff is going to stop dispensing water after one minute to conserve your water supply. And then the battery, when it's fully charged, is going to dispense 40 gallons per charge.

So no external power sources required. You will get a USB cable to recharge the battery, and you'll plug that in right here, as you can see right there. So very easy to plug in and charge this back up for your next use. And this does have an LED light that's going to keep this faucet visible, even in the dark. Let me see if I can show that to you.

I'm gonna turn my lights off here real quick so you can see just how bright that is. So that is a handy feature. That light's gonna be great, so you're not gonna need a flashlight to get a drink of water in the middle of the night. Now I wanna give you a brief demonstration of how this works. I have Dometic GO's water jug here.

This is the their camping water jug. And on your screen, I'm listing all the color options that we have. We have Ash, Slate, and Glacier. This is Glacier. So it's a light blue color, and there is a connection point right here to where you can plug this hose in.

So let me go ahead and do that here. So it's got a quick connect, it's a CPC fitting. And so it just clicks right into place as you could hear. And then it does have mounting plates here. You've got a square one and a round one. And the idea is you could use the double-sided adhesive tape there, put it on the bottom of the plate, and you could put the plate like right there, for instance. And then that will mount magnetically into place. The base here is magnetic. So that's a great feature as well. So you're gonna get two of those mounting plates. And so I have it connected to my jug. I've got water inside. Let me see if I can find my cup here. And hopefully you'll be able to see this pretty well. So I'm just gonna go ahead and double tap. And as you can see there, I've got water dispensing. I'm gonna see if the light function will work. So maybe you can see that light there just a little bit. I'm gonna turn that off before I overflow. So very easy to use. You just double tap, water comes out, and then tap once, and then that's going to turn it off. So real easy to use. It really does transform the portable water jug here into a full-fledged water system, as long as you have water inside of your tank. So again, you're going to get the faucet. You're gonna get the hose here. You're gonna get the mounting plates, the adhesive tape, the USB charging cable, and also a storage bag to store the faucet when it's not in use.
