Video Transcript for An In-Depth Look at the Dometic GO Camping Water Jug

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Dometic GO Camping Water Jug. This reusable water jug is going to let you bring your drinking water to the campsite. This is going to be great for helping you make coffee, helping you cook, washing dishes, and a whole lot more. It's gonna be a really easy, convenient way to transport water to your campsite. Now, this does have a capacity of about 2.9 gallons.

This is BPA free, and it is constructed of food-grade polyethylene. So this is very durable, it's impact resistant and this features dual openings. Let me bring this down here so you can see the top a little bit better here. So, dual openings that are gonna make it very easy to fill and dispense. So you can fill here if you like, nice wide opening.

And this lid is gonna be able to be used for something else that I'm gonna show you. And then you can just take the cap off here. And this does include this spigot, so I'm just gonna go ahead and screw that on. So that's going to allow you to easily dispense water that way, so that spigot is included with this. But then another option that you have is Dometic has a faucet that is designed to work with this.

So on your screen, I'm including the model number of that faucet. And I wanted to kinda give you a brief demonstration of what it looks like. So I do happen to have that faucet here and let me go ahead and hook this up. So this faucet can just set right here, or this has a magnetic base so you could attach it somewhere like a metallic base so it has a nice firm hold. And then I mentioned this other lid here.

This faucet will plug in with the included hose right here. It's kind of a quick release so that pops right in. And then you can just use this, a whole lot more easier way to dispense water. This is battery powered, so let me see if you can hear this. (pump whirring) So it has a battery-operated pump that's going to be rechargeable. It's a rechargeable battery. And so if the spigot isn't going to be exactly what you want, that faucet is another item that you could check out. So on your screen, I am including the item number for that faucet. You can just take that item number, pop it in the search field of our website and that will take you to the faucet and you can add it to your order if you so desire. Now, these do feature removable handles. These are like nylon type handles and they are fastened by hook and loop fasteners. So you're gonna be able to just remove these if you want. Then also we have built-in tie down guides. It's going to let you secure this jug at the campsite or during travel, so that's going to make it easier to run straps over this. And let me go ahead and give you some measurements just so you have a good idea of its size. So measuring the height first from bottom to the highest point here, which would be this cap, we're sitting at about 14-1/2 inches tall. And then looking at the width, we're sitting right about 10 inches wide. And then the depth, about seven inches deep or so. So this is what Dometic calls a glacier color. That's how it identifies this color. It's really a kind of a light blue color. So if you like this jug but you're not too crazy about the color, the good news is they also have this in ash, which is kind of a light gray color, or slate, which is a dark gray color. So if you don't like the light blue but you like those other color options, or at least you wanna check them out, again, take the item number that you see there, put in the search fill of our website and that will take you to that color that you are interested in.
