Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here @etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Torklift custom frame mounted camper tie-downs. These are going to be for the front of your vehicle and these fits the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 crew cab and that's for the six and three quarter foot bed. So these are going to install just using your factory mounting holes. It does require you to remove one bed mount to get this portion installed. So it'll just backset long bolt out, put it back through the bracket up here at the top, and then tied it back down.
So no drilling required, no modifications of any kind, so it's going to be a pretty straightforward install. And by using these it's going to help us to keep our camper locked down in our truck. So we don't have any more forward movement or front-to-back movement or any side-to-side shifting. So it's going to make it feel a lot safer and more stable in our truck by having that mounting point nice and below our bed. Since they do tie into the frame as well, it helps to get that center of gravity a little bit lower and locked in a little bit more. It comes with all the hardware you see laid out here, including a fish wire to get your bolts in place, or get your, get everything where it needs to be, so pretty straight forward.
Again, no modifications. The nice thing about this kit as well as of the arms are removable. So if you take your camper out of your truck, you don't have to have these big long arms coming out in the sides and getting in your way, whacking your knees or your shins on them as you go and pass your truck. You can just undo the clip and pin. It's just a little kind of tension pin to hold that in place or a little split, spring clip. So undo that, remove the arm, take it out, and then this should be pretty much undetectable underneath your truck.
You really shouldn't see it at all, it shouldn't be in your way at all. And then there's two holes where these can be mounted into. So whenever it's in its, for this out position, from the center of the hole, the mounting hole to the very end of our arm, it's about fifteen and a half inches. If we move that into the second arm, it's about eleven and a half inches. So we have about four inches of adjustment to get it where we need to be the lineup with our turnbuckles to get everything nice and secure. So that is definitely a thing that I like about this kit and about the Torklift camper tie-downs in general.
If you need any other accessories to go with these like the turnbuckles, or of course the rear mounts, you can find those right here @etrailer.com. We have a lot of options as far as getting those turnbuckles on your camper to make sure that everything's locked in nice and tight. The construction of these is going to be a powder coated steel. It's kind of got a hammer tone finish to it, so it looks pretty nice. Keep away the rest for a good long while. It is made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty from Torklift so you know that they stand behind their product by offering you that lifetime warranty. But that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the Torklift custom frame mounted camper tie-downs. We appreciate you watching our videos here @etrailer.com and we hope that we've helped to make your buying process a little bit simpler. Thanks for watching.

Ready your truck to haul a camper with these sturdy tie-downs. Inserts slide into frame-mounted brackets for use and easily remove for a clean, unobtrusive look. Custom designed for your vehicle.Easy install, good directions, shipping packaged well. Installed in about 1.5 hours by myself, used impact to remove bed bolt. It requires a floor jack or good upper body strength to hold it up while starting the bed bolt back in, but smooth sailing after that. Gloves and long sleeves will keep you from getting underbody paint all over yourself. When not in use just remove extensions and unless you’re looking for it you will never notice them. 855708
Very heavy duty, solid construction. This is the second set I got since new truck used different part#. Barely noticable when not in use. Once again the company communicates throughout the whole ordering/delivery process. 811637
I bought these for my 2020 Silverado 2500HD, and the fit was excellent. I advise any users to read and understand the instructions prior to installation, but with that in mind, installation only took a little over an hour. The fit was great and the inserts fit closely, but without contacting the body panels. 804153
I can't wait to put this set up on this weekend thank for the fastest delivery ever 918111
