13-5/8" Wide x 7-5/8" tall x 3-1/4" deep, cooler assembly keeps your vehicle functioning at its best no matter where it is mounted. Electric fan supplies airflow to the tube-fin core. For transmissions, power steering or fuel systems.

Perhaps the simplest type of heat exchanger, the tube-fin effectively cools a variety of automotive systems. The concept is simple: Fluid cools as it travels through the core by transferring heat out to the fins. The fins then provide the surface area necessary for sufficient heat exchange to take place, allowing the heat pulled from the fluid to dissipate into the surrounding air. Quick, easy and effective.
Take it a step further with a fan-mounted unit and you can be sure that there will always be optimum airflow for your tube-fin cooler no matter where it is mounted or what sort of environment you are traveling through, making it perfect for those hot days spent sitting in traffic.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Derale Class II Dyno-Cool Remote Cooler with Fan. This cooler assembly will cut down on heat related failures and improve the longevity and the overall functioning of your transmission, power steering, or fuel system. Now, perhaps the simplest type of heat exchanger. The tube-fin effectively cools a variety of automotive systems. And really the concept is simple, fluid cools as it travels through the core by transferring heat out to the fins.
The fins then provide the surface area needed for sufficient heat exchange to take place, allowing the heat pulled from the fluid to dissipate into the surrounding air. So, quick, easy, and effective. Now take it a step further with a fan mounted unit, as you see here. And you can be sure that there will always be optimum airflow for your tube-fin cooler, no matter where you have it mounted, or what sort of environment you are going to be traveling through. Making it perfect for those hot days spent sitting in traffic.
The copper and aluminum construction is going to ensure adequate heat transfer. The inlets are negative 6AN and on your screen I am including a diagram showing you the measurements. This is thirteen and five eighths inches wide, and seven and five eighths inches tall. And three and five eighths inches deep. And then as you see there, the mounting dimensions, they are ten and seven eighth inches wide and five inches tall.
And the distance between those inlets are six and a quarter inches. Now this just does include this cooler, as you see here on my table before me. And, instructions to guide you through the installation process. Well that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Installed this in a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Mounted it above the factory cooler that was already in the truck. (Flat fin side towards the a/c condenser). I used the insta-mount zip tie kit and also the flex metal mounts to anchor the cooler to the top of the factory cooler bracket as close to the a/c condenser as possible. The vertical bracket (part of the truck) that runs right down the middle of the a/c condenser has to be cut. All fairly minor fabrication. Hack saw and hand drill stuff. The fan has to be reversed to become a pusher. Followed the hood release cable from the interior to run 12 volts to power the fan on at ignition. Haven’t hooked the trailer up yet so I don’t know if this will resolve the hot tranny situation. ( I could smell the tranny getting hot before especially when we stopped at lights). Change your fluid too. etrailer delivered quickly and the cooler was well boxed and untouched.
