These rear tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame—the most solid part of the vehicle—to keep your camper stable and centered. By distributing the weight evenly and lowering the center of gravity, your setup avoids a top-heavy feel that could lead to sway in crosswinds or over rough roads. The camper stays secure and your truck handles predictably, giving you a smooth and confident drive no matter how far you go.
These tie-downs bolt onto existing holes in the frame, so installation takes little to no drilling and no cutting or modification. The custom fit ensures the mounts sit tight to the frame with minimal loss of ground clearance, making them easy to live with whether you’re hauling or not. Each kit includes two rear tie-downs and all necessary installation hardware for a straightforward setup.
Made of black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs are built to resist rust and corrosion through years of weather and road use. The heavy-duty steel gives you long-term strength for repeated loading, travel, and exposure to the elements—ideal for anyone who needs a system they can count on season after season.
When you’re not carrying a camper, you can remove the arms from the brackets so they’re nearly invisible beneath the truck. This keeps things looking clean while leaving your tie-down system ready for the next trip. It’s an easy way to maintain your truck’s appearance without sacrificing strength or convenience.

Each tie-down arm offers two pin holes to adjust how far it extends from the truck body. This gives you clearance for fenders or sidewalls and lets you set the right reach for your turnbuckles (sold separately). The dual anchor holes on the plate help you fine-tune your hold angles so your camper stays locked in place from multiple directions during travel.

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs. This is for the rear. You'll want to check etrailer.com's fit guide to verify which ones are going to work with your vehicle. They're also available for the front. So, you can get a matching set custom made for your application. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends, so when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie-down point, to evenly distribute the load. So once they're attached and adjusted, this'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This will increase the overall ride quality while your camper's attached and the safety. The attachment points are removable and adjustable.
There'll be two loops here where you can make your connection to your camper and there's two holes here to adjust the length of how far your attachment point sticks out.You can use either hole. So if you have very wide camper, you can use that first hole, or if your camper is tucked in nicer, you can use the second hole. The included pin will slide through the hole and keep it in place. It's made of a durable powder coated steel, so it's going to be extra strong and rigid, to keep your camper tied down nice and snug and the powder coat is going to prevent any rust and corrosion from occurring. When you're ready to hook up to your new connection point, take your turnbuckles and attach them to your camper. Now, if you need some turnbuckles, you can pick some up here on our website. You'll hook it in to your camper and you'll also hook it in down here on your new attachment point. Then, depending on your style of turnbuckle, you'll want to tighten it down.
Ours is a twist adjustment type. There are many different styles. And now with both sides in place, we'll repeat that same process in the front.Compared to Stake Pocket, or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs, frame-mounted tie-downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, so they will be undetectable when not in use, giving your truck a cleaner look.Because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame, there is no loss of ground clearance; and that completes our look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear.

These tie downs are sill working as advertised. I have travelled over 20,000 mi with them in various conditions with about 10 of that time in dirt roads or 4wd roads. Nothing too crazy, but with my camper and these tied downs I am confident that the camper will remain attached and be secure. It hardly moves around at all. They are worth the money and I can still remember how easily they installedvery welll thought out design and installation!

Product is working great , what is fantastic is the engineering for the fit to the vehicle and the tools they give you to fish and hold bolts where they need to be during installation. Great thought process for instruction for installation.

They are starting to rust significantly. That is very disappoint considering the very high cost of these. It is interesting that they dont allow pictures of the product for this update.

Thank you for your photo. Torklift does recommend to use the hitch adapter for the 2020 Ford F-250. The adapter does need to be turn horizontally to fit inside the hitch not vertically.

Bought these tie-downs a year ago and they have proven to be easy to use, very sturdy, and hold my Palomino to the truck bed tightly.
