Features to know about

Stable Handling on Every Trip: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs

These front tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame, which is the strongest and most stable part of the vehicle. By anchoring the camper to the frame, they distribute weight evenly and keep the center of gravity low. That means less sway from crosswinds and a confident, balanced ride even with a heavy camper. The setup prevents shifting or sliding so your truck handles naturally, mile after mile.

Protect Your Truck’s Looks: Removable, Low-Profile Design

When you’re not hauling a camper, remove the tie-down arms and the brackets will hardly be noticeable. The mounts sit tight against the frame and stay tucked under the body for a clean look and minimal loss of ground clearance. You get solid mounting strength without bulky hardware hanging below your truck.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Mounts

These tie-downs bolt on using pre-existing frame holes, so there’s little to no drilling and no need for modifications. The custom-fit design lines up with your truck’s frame for an exact fit that saves time during installation. Because everything mounts tight to the frame, there’s no compromise on strength or clearance.

Built to Endure: Powder-Coated Steel Construction

Made from black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs are built to resist corrosion and wear from road debris and weather. The durable finish helps them hold up through long seasons on the road without rusting or peeling. Each kit includes two front tie-downs and installation hardware for a dependable setup that lasts.

Secure Connection Options: Adjustable Anchor Points

Each arm has two pin holes so you can extend it just far enough to clear fenders or sidewalls and line up with your camper’s anchor points. Two mounting holes in each plate let you fine-tune the angle for a solid hold. Once tightened with turnbuckles (sold separately), the camper stays locked down and stable on every trip.

Great seller, great communication and shipping! I bought the TLF2007, front camper tie downs, for my 2004 Ford F350. Reasonably easy to install in about an hour by myself. The product seems well engineered and very sturdy. Everything lined up great with pre-existing frame and bed mounting rail holes.

2000 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty
It's been a long haul just trying to learn about trucks and slide-in campers. Of course, you don't know what you don't know until you start learning something new. I decided months ago I wanted a truck and slide-in not realizing, at the time, I'd need to think about mounts, turnbuckles, pigtails, payloads, etc! The popular choice for mounts and turnbuckles was Torklift with Fast Guns so I went all in on both. The ordering process via etrailer.com was super easy. They make is simple to pick the right mounts if you know the basics of your truck. Delivery time was very reasonable at about 10 days (and free shipping). Installation was easy too and I'm NOT mechanically inclined. I also received a free set of turnbuckle locks, out of the blue, and couldn't be more excited. Product is great and worth the higher price tag. etrailer.com service was fabulous with regular communication after the order was placed with an unexpected gift to round out the transaction.

Great, product is just what we needed for our truck mount camper

by:
Installation papers where poor quality (especially the pictures). The brackets I'm very happy with. The bolt holes didn't line up exactly but with a little work they do bolt down. The bolt for the top bracket is to close to the support for the washers so nut only. The video shows end caps but were not included.

Frame mounted tie downs! What more can one say?
by:
the items were delivered fast, I only had an issue with the rear brackets, but I called and talked with Paula @ext 79354, She was awesome! it was painless, got everything resolved and all is good! thank you.
by:
Camilla was great. She was efficient and she followed up after emailing me info. She got the order processed quickly and your company got the tie downs to us in 2 days!!! That is why we continue to buy from etrailer

Awesome product. Bolted right up. Easy installation.

by:
These are built very good. They Install easy enough but the front take a little more effort. No fault of the manufacture. The truck fuel lines, fuel tank, etc make it a bit more time consuming. The manufacturer includes some aids that are very helpful.
by:
Everything I expected and more. The quality is obvious as soon as you open the box great product can't wait to get it installed and pick up mu new camper.
by:
Had to drill holes in the box to attach the top bracket. Neither side aligned with the existing holes. The holes that attached to the frame were fine.
by:
Product is excellent and appears to be very durable. Was not difficult to install, though fishing the bolt through the drivers side frame was compounded by a fuel line but the wire tool is excellent. Finished install in about an hour.

  • Which Torklift Camper Tie Downs Fit 2004 Ford F-350 Dually
Hey Mike, thanks for the picture of your setup. From that I can tell you have steps that stop before the truck bed which means the correct tie down kit from Torklift is the part # TL45NR which comes with the tie downs # TLF2007 and # TLF3001.

  • Recommended Camper Tie Downs and Turnbuckles for a 2002 Ford F-250
For your 2002 Ford F-250 I recommend checking out the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF2007 for the front, and the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLF3001 for the rear. These tie-downs are American made, custom fit to your vehicle so there won't be any ground clearance loss as these hug your vehicle's frame, and are virtually undetectable when not in use. Additionally, you're also going to need a set of turnbuckles in which I suggest going with the...

Inserts are not sold individually so you'd need the whole tie-down kit. For your 2001 Ford F-350 the rear tie-down is the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLF3001. The front will depend on your bed length, and so long as you do not have running boards that go underneath the truck bed, the right fit is either: - 6-3/4' Bed: TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLF2007 - 8' Bed: TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLF2011 For...

The best air bag kit for your 2006 Ford F-350 that fits your budget is the Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2400 which I attached an install video on for you to check out as well. The Torklift tie downs part number # TLF2007 and # TLF3004 are both a fit as well. For a hitch extender you'd need something like the part # RP45292 as the # TLE1636 can only fit Torklift hitches.

  • Camper Tie Downs for 2000 Ford Super Duty
There are several different types of tie downs, bed mounted, bumper mounted and frame mounted. For you 2000 Ford Super Duty I recommend frame mounted tie downs, they provide the strongest base for securing your camper. Since the attachment points are on the frame, which is lower than the bed, it distributes the weight better and gives you better handling and a more stable rig. The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs Front # TLF2007 and Rear # TLF3001 are a great example. The...

  • Camper Tie Downs for a 2002 Ford F-250 and Arctic Fox Camper
The Brophy tie downs # HSAB should only be mounted to make contact with the metal of the bed so I would not recommend them for your 2002 Ford F-250 unless you can remove those caps. Since you are trading in the camper for perhaps another camper the best solution is to use custom fit frame mounted camper tie downs. There are a few options depending on how your truck is configured. I have linked the main page for your truck. For example if you have an 8 foot bed without any board or step...
