Features to know about

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Frame Mounts

These front tie-downs bolt directly to your truck’s frame using pre-existing holes, so there’s little to no drilling or modification required. Because they mount tight to the frame, you keep good ground clearance and a clean look underneath. The custom fit makes installation straightforward and secure, creating a solid foundation for your camper without cutting into anything or weakening the frame.

Strong and Light: Aluminum and Stainless Steel Build

The TorkLift Talon tie-downs combine heavy-duty strength with lightweight materials. The removable arms are made from military-grade, rustproof aluminum alloy, while the receiver brackets use rugged stainless steel. Both are finished with a high-impact powder coat for extra protection from wear, salt, and weather. That means they’ll hold up even after long trips over rough terrain without adding unnecessary weight.

Stable Handling on the Road: Frame-Mounted Design

Mounting your camper to the frame keeps the load low and stable. By distributing weight evenly across the bed, these tie-downs lower the center of gravity and help prevent sway or shifting during travel. You’ll notice better handling and less movement in crosswinds or uneven conditions, so your truck drives as confidently as it does unloaded.

Clean Look When Not in Use: Removable Arms

When you’re not carrying your camper, you can remove the aluminum arms and the brackets will be barely noticeable beneath your truck. The frame-mounted design keeps everything tucked up close, so nothing hangs low or sticks out. It’s a practical setup that protects your truck’s appearance while staying ready for your next trip.

Easy Camper Connection: Adjustable Anchor Points

Each arm has two pin holes so you can choose how far to extend it for proper clearance around sidewalls and fenders. Two anchor holes on the attachment plate let you pick the best angle for your turnbuckles (sold separately), giving you a tight, stable connection that holds firm in all directions. It’s a simple way to make sure your camper stays secure mile after mile.

Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. With the arms removed, the brackets are barely noticeable. Made of stainless steel and lightweight, rustproof aluminum.

Excellent product. Good customer service. I will always use tork lift products from now on.
etrailer is an excellent vendor as well.
I upgraded from happy jack camper tie downs. I like the aluminum talon tork lifts for their easy installation, zero corrosion liability, and unimposing appearance when not in use.

by:

About a year ago, I purchased the aluminum Talon Torklift Frame-Mounted Front and Rear Camper Tie-Downs. The install was easy taking the better part of a day including a little help from a local automotive mechanic to loosen and retorque the truck’s leaf spring bolts. The Tie-Downs have worked great since installed with no issues. I highly recommend them.

by:

I purchased front & rear TorkLift Frame mounts. Thay worked great and safer than bed mounts.

by:

Torklift frame mounted tie downs are a great product. The rear ones are easy to install. The front require a bit more skill and an extra set of hands. It’s a bit nerve wracking thinking you might loose the bolts into the frame! I upgraded my truck from an F150 to an F250. Because the brackets aren’t transferable, I had to get a new set and install them on my F250. I was glad I had the experience with the previous brackets on the F150 because the ones for the F250 are a bit heavier and more challenging to install. But I was able to do it with an extra set of hands to hold the brackets on to the frame. The fact that I went with the same Torklift system is a testament to the product. If you can afford aluminum, they’re beautiful and light. But once everything is in place, there’s no functional difference.
etrailer has great installation videos for the F150, but not the F250. I wish they had install videos for the F250 because it’s a bit more challenging, requiring an impact driver to loosen the nut on the driver side leaf spring.

by:

The tie-downs were a bit difficult to install for a novice but if you follow instructions closely they did install as outlined in the instructions. They are lightweight and have held my camper in place very well. I am happy with this purchase.

by:

This is my second set of Torklift tie downs. Like the first, these are excellent. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the annoying quality control in the packaging. My front tie downs came with only 1 bolt fisher, not the required 3! I was able to complete the install using the bolt fisher from the set of rear tie downs. I was able to install the C bolt without the fisher. One of the lock washers was the wrong size...not a big problem for a shop install but I had to make a trip to the local hardware store before I could finish the project. Lastly I had to cut off the passenger side bed bolt in order to get a socket on the B bolt to torque it down....again, not a problem for a shop install but irritating for this 70+ guy on his back in the driveway! *Aside from all this..I love the product!

by:

The rear mounts were easy to mount. The only problem the package was missing 4 flat washers. I also just received the Front mounts. They were a little harder to mount by myself. Some advice is to watch the install on [video]. I ended up using a floor Jack to hold the mounts.

by:

After installing them we put our newly purchased truck camper on the truck and took a trip from New York to Louisianna. They did their job perfectly! They held up with ease and nothing was bent as they are aluminum. The installation instructions seemed okay, everything came together.

by:

Install was easy and straight forward. Going to work great with my Northern Lite truck camper .

by:

No worries about securing the camper to the truck using the Torklift tie-downs. Third camper/truck I have used these on and would not consider any other option.

by:

I had a great customer experience with Ashley. Seemed very caring and understanding and resolved my issue with some tie downs that were defective.
Great customer care. Thank you

by:

Hooray for stainless and aluminum! So much better than the carbon steel ones that were constantly shedding rust. I have so much better confidence in these tie downs over the originals

by:

Ordered both front and back set for my 2023 F250. All good except one of the bolt holes for the front drive side is missing. Called etrailer. Option 1 - return (we'll see). Option 2 call torklift. Called torklift and left a message - we'll see what the response is. Viewing etrailer website, this is the proper fit. Viewing torklift website "There are no fits available". Photo included.

by:

There was a miss match with the first set I received (wrong part number) when the correct kit was received, TorkLift had packed the wrong extensions in the box. After TorkLift shipped the correct extensions everything went together correctly and worked as expected.

Fit perfect with no drilling.

Best customer service ever

by:

Excellent service and quick shipping

by:

Product arrived 2 days after I ordered it, and works great! The only problem was installing the front brackets. Installing the initial bolt, using the bolt fisher and then removing it without dropping the bolt into the frame, was incredibly tricky, and definitely not a one person job. The rest of the installation went great, and the product seems to work well.

by:

My salesperson was great, especially with the mess-up in shipping and handling. (Install instructions were not included) Of course, Torklift products are very well made BUT I did have to modify them ever so slightly, probably because my 2016 Ram was put together with a little less accuracy than was needed. Would use etrailer again.

by:

I ordered Camper tie-downs for my new Ram 2500. I erroneously ordered TDL2126A for the front. They wouldn't clear the nurfs. A quick call confirmed that I would need the TDL2127A. I had to pay for the 27As up front and hope when I returned the 26As on an rmer I would receive prompt refunds. Imagine my surprise when they notified me that they received my return and the refund was on its way. These guys are super, especially Brenden C.
ps the Aluminum tie downs are great and the happy jacks awesome!

by:

I bought the Torklift camper tie downs for my new 2017 Ram 3500 dually. I haul a Lance 850 slide in truck camper. They came today and I installed them in about 4 hours. (I work slow) I bought the Aluminum ones so I don't have to worry about any rust. They look great and like the Torklift that was on my old truck I am sure they will give me great service.

I have made about six trips this year and the Torklift truck camper tie down system has worked great. It is the only truck camper unit I would recommend.

Excellent product and excellent service from ETRAILER! Held up well after one year, will hold up in long run as well. Fit and finish of product is outstanding. Durable coatings, and well worth the extra money for these!
