These custom fit tie-downs give you the safest and most comfortable ride when hauling a camper. They mount to the frame of your pickup - no drilling required! With the arms removed, the brackets can barely be seen. Made of rustproof aluminum.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these TorkLift Talon Custom Front Camper Tie-Downs. These tie-downs are going to provide the attachment points at the front of your truck bed to secure your truck camper's turn buckles. The rear tie-downs are sold separately but you will need all four so that you can get your camper tied down at all four corners. But these are going to be a custom fit so they are going to work with many different 2011 through 2019 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500s. Because of different hitch compatibility and running boards and that sort of thing, I would encourage you to use our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com.
You'll select your year, make and model and then we'll walk you through how to select your different packages on your vehicle to make sure that this is gonna work for you. But, it does fit a wide range of those vehicles so very likely that it will work for you. Now, these are going to be frame mounted. So the brackets are going to fit tight up against your truck frame. So you're not gonna lose any ground clearance.
And this is going to ensure excellent handling for you by securing the camper to your truck's base instead of up on the bed. It's going to better distribute the weight to help keep your setup from being too top-heavy. They do include very detailed instructions to walk you through the installation process as well as all the mounting hardware that you're going to need to get these brackets installed. These are going to be two different materials. So these arms here are going to be a corrosion resistant aluminum alloy.
These are our tie down inserts. And then we're also going to have stainless steel receiver brackets here that are going to secure to your truck frame. Both of them are going to have a high impact powder coat finish. So that's gonna add that extra layer of protection. So, 'cause it is gonna be up under your truck where it can be exposed to road salts and that sort of thing.
It's gonna be nice to have that extra layer of protection but these tie down inserts are going to slide right into the receiver brackets. When you're ready to hook up to your camper, you can see, we do have a couple different notches there to accommodate different widths of campers. So if you've got a really wide camper, you can use that notch there. If it's your camper's a little more narrow, you can use that one. You can just simply slide in, line up the hole and then pass that pin and clip through. And that's going to give you that nice, solid connection point for your turn buckles. When you're not towing or not using your camper and your truck bed, you can simply slide those arms out. On this portion, it is going to stay mounted onto your truck's frame but you can just use one of the included caps here to cover up that opening. And then you, it's virtually in, undetectable. So you won't be able to see it underneath your truck. It's not like some of the other options where you have like a tab that sticks out between your bed and your cab and kind of unsightly and takes away from the look of your truck. This is gonna be very nondescript. It's very discreet. So when you're not using it, you can tuck it away. And then when you do want to use it, just pull these arms out of storage, slide 'em in and get 'em connected and you're ready to go. So very nice system here so that it doesn't take away from the look of your truck and still gives you that nice, secure connection to your truck's frame. These are made here in the USA, so you can trust they're made to the high quality standards we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. And they do come with a lifetime warranty so if you we're to have any issues with them, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. But overall, I think these are gonna be a really nice option for you because they are a custom fit. They are gonna be very easy to get installed and have that solid connection and very, very unnoticeable when they're not, you don't have those arms in. And so it's not gonna take away from the look of your truck. You do wanna make sure you're getting this set as well as the rear tie downs. Those are sold separately. You can find those here at etrailer.com as well. So make sure you're getting all four. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
