These frame-mounted tie-downs keep your camper solidly connected to the most rigid part of your truck, giving you a safer and smoother ride. By anchoring to the frame instead of the bed or bumper, they lower the camper’s center of gravity and spread the weight evenly across the bed. That means less sway in strong winds and no shifting or sliding when you’re covering long distances. You get confident handling that feels just like driving without a camper on board.
The brackets bolt directly into pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s no cutting, no drilling, and no permanent changes to your truck. Because they mount tight to the frame, ground clearance stays nearly the same, making them easy to live with whether you’re hauling or not. Each set includes 2 front tie-downs, 2 rear tie-downs, and all installation hardware so you can do the job yourself with basic tools.
When your camper’s off the truck, you can pull out the arms and keep your rig looking clean. The brackets sit tucked up under the vehicle where they’re barely visible. It’s a simple way to keep a professional appearance without leaving bulky parts hanging below the bed.

Made of strong steel with a high-impact powder coat finish, these tie-downs are built to handle years of weather and road use. The durable coating adds an extra layer of protection against chips and rust from rain or winter salt so the system keeps doing its job trip after trip.
Each tie-down arm has two pin holes that let you adjust how far it extends from the truck body. That way your turnbuckles (sold separately) line up cleanly with your camper’s anchors without rubbing against the sidewalls or fenders. The dual anchor holes also help you find the best angle for a solid hold that keeps your camper steady from every direction.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Torklift custom frame mounted front camper tie downs. Now, these tie downs are going to fit various years and versions of the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado. To confirm that these are going to work for you, please take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will let you know if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, these custom tie downs provide attachment points at the front of the bed of your truck for securing a bed mounted camper. The rear camper tie downs are sold separately. And again, you will wanna use our fit guide to find the rear tie downs that will work for your particular vehicle. These brackets are going to fit tight to your truck's frame with no loss of ground clearance. And the frame mounted design is going to ensure excellent handling because securing your camper to your truck's base instead of its bed better distributes weight to keep your setup from being too top heavy.
And there are going to be virtually undetectable when they're not in use. These tie down inserts can be easily removed from the frame mounted receiver brackets with these included pins. So I'm just gonna go ahead and remove one of these just to give you a brief demonstration. So I removed one of the included pins here and then that insert is going to slide right out and you can take these inserts and put them in the back of the cab of your truck when they're not in use. And then when you're ready to use them, you just grab them and slide them back into the receiver brackets.
I wanted to show you that each of these inserts have two holes. You will use the first hole here for if your camper is wider, if you need a little more clearance, and then you'll use that second hole there for your camper if it's a little bit narrower. So you do have some flexibility there. I'm gonna slide it all the way into that second hole there. So this will continue to fit on my table, line up the holes and then run the pin through and then go ahead and secure the pin.
And these pins have a pretty good tension on them so they're going to hold in place once you have them secured. Now, these are made here in the USA of a powder coated steel construction. You're going to receive everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to receive the two front tie down inserts, the frame brackets, and the necessary hardware along with a set of instructions to walk you through the installation process. These do have a lifetime warranty from Torklift. And that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

It definitely is safe the way you have them, Paul! In a perfect world, the turn buckles would be perfect vertical, but this an imperfect world and not all campers have the attachment points in the same place. If you take a look at some of the installed pictures on the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK page, you can see most of them are at an angle. It's perfectly normal. Are you running any suspension enhancement on your Silverado?

Install looks great, Megan! Especially for it only taking two hours! They were moving. : ) Happy we confirmed what you found as well. Tie downs can be a pain in the rear with all the options out there. Now I do have to ask though, have you guys thought about any kind of suspension enhancement for the rear axle? It's a little hard to tell, but it looks like the back is sagging a bit in your last picture.

A year later and I would not do anything different. Absolutely the best system available especially paired with the fast guns. The camper is solid mounted and does not move. Yet can still be off loaded in just a few minutes. Remember good stuff isn’t cheap and cheap stuff isn’t good.
