Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Cargo Smart Anti-Rattle D-ring Tie-Down Anchor. This D-ring adds an extra anchor point for your trailer, truck or van. It has this sleeve that goes under the mounting bracket and this sleeve is designed to keep the anchor point tight and minimize rattling, so it has an anti-rattle design.It's a simple bolt-on installation, mounting hardware not included, but it will accept three eighth inch diameter hardware. The unit's made from a durable steel construction with protective finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion.I did take a measurement of the usable space, I measured inner edge to inner edge and got a measurement of 2 and 1/4 inches, and then from the top of the bracket to the bottom of the D-ring measures about 2 and 3/16 to 2 and 1/4 as well.The D-ring diameter is a half inch. The mounting bracket measures edge to edge, going this direction, about 3 and 1/8 to 3 and 3/16. Side to side is 1 and 3/4 inches.
Mount holes are separated on center by 2 inches.Now, the unit features a safe working load limit of 3,666 pounds, with a maximum load or break strength rating of 11,000 pounds.
