These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.

Specs:
If you have pop-out rail caps you can install the anchors in seconds. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the stake pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If you have truck bed rails with hidden stake pockets that don't have pop-out rail caps, a router and a drill with a 1/2" bit (not included) are required to install the anchors.
The router bit (sold separately) lets you perfectly trim the caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use the router to make the cuts. The router bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed you can install the anchors.
If you have rear stake pockets with an inner plastic shaft, use a router with the rotary pocket saw bit (sold separately) to remove it.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these BullRing raised fit retractable tie-down anchors for your truck bed stake pockets. These heavy-duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets and give you tie-down points to secure your load, they're gonna work with S-hook and J-hook connections, and these are going to fit various years and versions of the Ford F-Series, the Ranger, the Dodge Ram pickups, the GMC Sierras, and the Chevrolet Silverados. To confirm if these are going to work for your vehicle take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Insert the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will let you know if these will work for your truck or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, while the factory anchor points are inside of your truck bed where it can be hard to reach, these retractable anchor points are going to install in the stake pockets on top of your bed rails. And they're gonna be very easy to use, you simply pop the anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure your load, and then you just push it down firmly, and that's going to allow that ring to be out of your way, it's going to sit flush with the rest of the anchor's body and then that's how simple these are going to be to use.
So again just let me show you how easy this is to pull this up. So you pull the ring up firmly and you hear that click and that means that it is secured in place. And that ring is not going to go anywhere, it's going to stay up, and when you have your strap attached to this it's going to stay up, it's not gonna accidentally slip down. And then when you don't need them anymore you just push it down firmly and it is out of your way. This raised fit is going to sit just above your bed rail.
And these anchors have a weight capacity of a thousand pounds, and they are constructed of stainless steel that's going to resist rust and corrosion, and the nylon lower body is going to reduce sound. And installation is going to be quick and easy, and for the most part it requires nothing more than a Phillips head screw driver. So, to install these you're going to want to remove any plastic cap that covers your stake pocket. I will point out that if you have a 2009 to 2019 Ram truck you are going to need to trim the rail cap for proper installation. So to make that job easier, I am including on your screen our item number to the BullRing rail cap router bit.
And to check that out, just take that item number, put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com and it will take you to that router bit, and that's going to make your trimming job easier if you have a 2009 to 2019 Ram truck. So after you've removed that plastic cap and if you've had to do any trimming, after you have done that trimming, you do want to use your Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the two screws in the anchor and then just remove those screws, after you've loosened them, and that is going to allow the steel plate here, at the bottom, to drop down freely. And then once that is dropped down, you are just going to pull up on the cover, as I am right here, and guide that anchor into the stake pocket, and you're probably gonna have to do that at an angle. And then you wanna catch this lower bracket on the truck sheet metal, and so once you've made that contact there, then you're just gonna hold onto the ring, allow that cover to drop into place, and then replace those screws and tighten them down, and that's how easy these are going to be to install. One thing I failed to mention is you're not gonna have to worry about this bracket falling off of this ring and possibly losing it in the stake pocket, it is attached permanently to this ring so you don't have to worry about that becoming disconnected.
Now, when you tighten these screws you just need to hand tighten them, you don't wanna over tighten them. If your plastic rail cap is starting to bend or bow then that's an indication that you are making the screws too tight. You are going to receive four tie-down anchors and these do have a lifetime warranty. And overall I'm very impressed with how easy these are going to be to use once you have them installed. They feel very robust, very heavy duty, and high quality. But I'm even more impressed with how easy these are going to be to install as well. So you're probably gonna have these installed in maybe half an hour, maybe 45 minutes, maybe even less than that, and then they're gonna be ready to go for you. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

This neat little addition to the truck is easy to put in and looks custom. The hardest part is getting it out of the package :) The price was fair and delivery was spot on. I am an Etrailer junkie and will continue to be so. They have so many neat things one could go broke just customizing. The customer inquiry response on all issues is phenomenal.
