Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this set of bull ring retractable truck bed stake pocket tie down anchors. These are heavy duty anchors that will attach to your truck bed's stake pockets and provide a tie down point to secure your load. These are designed specifically to work with your 1988 through 1998 Chevrolet and GMC C/K series pickups. So these are going to be very easy to reach, being that they're in your truck bed stake pockets. So they're gonna be much easier for you to get connected to than the factory anchor points inside your truck's bed.
They do have these durable stainless steel rings that will work with your S hooks or J hooks to make a nice secure connection there. These do have a weight capacity of 1,000 pounds, so they will provide that nice secure connection for you to tie your load down to. Because these are a stainless steel construction, they are going to resist rust and corrosion, and then our nylon lower body is going to help reduce sound. And as you can see, when it's sitting down in your stake pocket, this top portion is going to sit just above the rail caps of not quite a flush finish, but not much higher than your rail cap. The retractable design is going to allow you to easily snap the rings down for a out of sight retracted look, and then when you're ready for use, they can snap up in place so it's easier for you to get your S hooks and J hooks put in place.
And then you can just lower them down again when you're done with them. It's very easy to get these installed. All you have to do is remove the screws that attach the top bracket with the lower bracket. And that's going to give you some more room to naggle there so you can get this lowered into your stake pocket, kind of angling it down. And then once it's inside, we've got these side plates here that are gonna kind of act as an anchor.
So we'll pull up on that ring, and that's going to lift the whole system up so that it catches on your truck's sheet metal. So it has a nice solid connection there, and then once you pull it up, just reinstall those screws, and you'll have a nice firm connection to your truck. You are going to get four of these anchors with this set. So we'll give you four solid tie-down locations that are easy to reach so that you can get your load secured to your truck. These do come with a lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any issues with them, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com.
But I really think these are gonna gonna be a really nice addition to your truck, giving you that easy access to a nice solid, secure tie down point. And that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
