There's a couple of other ones on our website, but this is the most entry level option. I really like the dual tire hold because it doesn't have any effect on our frame. So we can use our carbon fiber frame bikes.

You simply slide this little tab up, insert your key in, and you can unlock your bikes for unloading.Each cradle has a thick rubber coated surface, in order to protect your bike frame during travel.

Thread it in as far as you can by hand this anti rattle bolt is going to help to eliminate a lot of the play, rattle and wobble that you may have in your bike rack and I'll show you that as soon as I get it hand tightened. With a regular pin and not an anti rattle bolt, this is the kind of bouncing, swaying and rattle you would have.



Saris Axis Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Prius

We've already got it loaded up on the Prius just to give you a good idea what it's going to look like and how it's going to hold our bike. It is a hanging-style bike rack, as you can see it secures our bike in three spots. We have two straps for our top tube, and then we have one strap for our seat post tube. This one's going to be our anti-sway strap, it's going to help prevent a lot of the sway in the bike when we're on the road, as well as prevent bike-to-bike contact and bike-to-vehicle contact. Let's go ahead and take our bike off. We're just going to press in on the little tab on top and feed that strap back out.
