Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Nissan Xterra

Today on our 2013 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Complete Crossroad Kit with 50" long bars and locks, part number TH45050. With our feet and load bars already assembled, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the roof of our vehicle. We'll then measure from a fixed point on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle, ensuring that the front load bar is perpendicular to the side rails of our Xterra. Once we've established this position, we can then measure the overhang of the load bar on both the passenger and driver side, giving it an even look. Once we've established this position, we can then pull out the end cap to loosen up the Allen bolt to bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the raised side rail and hook them back into position. We'll then tighten it down and replace our end cap.

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Nissan Xterra

Today on our 2012 Nissan Xterra we'll be test fitting the Thule Crossroad Roof Rack System. We'll be using part numbers THLB50 and part number TH450. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions we'll begin our test fit by placing our front bar on to the front part of our roof. You'll want to find a fixed point on the side rail to set up your foot pack. You'll do this on both sides to ensure that your feet are straight across from each other. If you don't have a fixed point on your side rail you can simply get them lined up by taking a measurement. Here on the passenger side we'll bring our strap around our bar, fit it back into the foot pack and tighten down the Allen bolt with the included tool to secure our strap around our bar. Once we've got that tight we can slide the tool back into the foot pack and repeat that process for the other side.

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Nissan Xterra

Today on our 2008 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System using Part Numbers THARB43 and TH450R. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. We'll use the anchor point, where the side rails anchor down to the vehicle's roof, where we will place our front load bar next to. This will ensure that our front bar is perpendicular to the roof and in the same spot on both sides. With the bar in place, we can pop off the end caps and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the bar and hook them into the connection points. We can then turn the black bolt to tighten down the straps up against the side rail of our Xterra.
