if I had to rate this upgrade in difficulty one being the easiest five being the hardest, it would be a one. Super simple. Take the nuts and bolts off your old hardware and install the upgrade in its place. I read some of the reviews were people were annoyed with the counter clockwise rotation and the bolt sticking out too far. I really didn’t see a problem with either. I know you’re not supposed to use a drill to extend and retract these but I always have. I suppose as long as you’re not torquing the heck out of the adjustment screw you shouldn’t have any problems. I always put a small flat 2 x 6 piece of wood under the foot of each one of these. It seems to add quite a bit of stability.

The jacks themselves have worked great, they keep the trailer level and solid during our concession events. I just had them mounted to the trailer so I don't have to put them in and out at each event. The jack handles leave a bit to be desired so I use a 20v drill w/ a 3/4" socket to run them up and down.

After receiving the packages was very severely damaged and there was no Jack.Stand crank and no nuts and bolts.Don't know what else I miss

I bought 2 sets of these to level & stabilize a 7500lb smoker trailer (1 in each corner). though they do stabilize, They don't lift to level it off (meaning by inches), the weight/load rating paired with the word "Jack" is misleading. I had to use other "Jacks" to Level it first. This trailer is stays mostly on the pad I built for it on my property, and they work well once situated.

Etrailer was great and shipping was fast. However the shipping was abusive to the packaging resulting in bent shaft on leading jack, which made it impossible to install gearbox for proper operation. Being mechanically inclined I could disassemble and straighten shaft hoping no stress fractures ending its life sooner than expected, or use shaft from previous jack. But why? I bought new parts for a reason.

Delivery was on time, but the box it arrived in didn’t fair we’ll and parts were hanging out of the box! But everything was accounted for and the parts were well wrapped. Installation was very easy. The only issue was the locking pins mount plate is tack welded to the primary leg that the motor moves up and down. Those mounting plates had to be removed to install the lead and follow jacks. A grinder made short work of that. I didn’t put the mounting plates back on, instead I used my spring loaded pins that were on the old legs, they were still in good working condition. Also I didn’t use the adjustable cross over rod that came in the package . I opted to use the one that was on my old jacks, it was constructed of heaven gauge tubing and didn’t have a much (slop) movement in it. Also did not use the plastic housing gear box, I purchased a aluminum house gear box from e-trailer a few months back and used that one keeping the plastic for a spare. Very satisfied.

Works. Makes slide out far more stable. Metal head is a little thin, bends a little, but does its job.

These slide-out supports provide me with much comfort when the slide out was in use. Very easy to install.

Work great and good backup to electrical Jack. Our electricals were not working but now are. Hopefully, they remain as backup as have to handcraft or additional support.

The jacks were well packaged and shipped out fast. I got these to replace tho ones on my camper and they bolted right up.

We had so much trouble with the heavy slide out on our travel trailer going out of adjustment .. The trailer spent more time the first two years in the dealership shop or another rv shop than we had it at home.. When we finally got it repaired for the last time my wife checked the internet and found these slide out supports.. We use these everytime we open the slide out at home or camping in the forest or rv park .. And we havent had anymore trouble .. Wish we found these two years earlier .. Our camper came with stabilizers only in the back. Once we level it we put these under the front corners and it gets rid of any movement in the camper like you get when front is only on tongue jack.

I am very pleased with the Reese electric 5th wheel landing gear - 8000 pounds. Installation was a little difficult because the motor flange/mount was initially hitting one of the camper’s steel members. Using a side grinder, I was able to cut off the corner (maybe 1.5x1.0 inch cut) off the each motor mount, which I felt would not harm the integrity of the motor / landing gear in any way. The installation was then straight forward. I was able to use the original weld brackets, which made installation easier. The speed while extending is rated at 9 inches of lift per minute, and I would say that is about right (although I did not actually measure it). For the electrical panel, I wanted to fit in the same enclosure as the original panel, but it was too wide. So I took tin snips and trimmed approximately 0.5 inches from each side of the panel. The trimmed panel fit perfectly into the old enclosure…. see attached photo.

Jacks went in easy using the existing brackets from my single motor jacks. Just had to install a new switch panel ( since these are independently adjustable ) and run an additional power lead since these call for individual power and ground leads for each motor. They are 4 times faster than my original single motor jacks. These claim to raise 9 inches a minute and I believe that's about correct.

I really enjoyed working with Lauren she really knows the product line and the Ultra fab landing gear work far better than I expected. I have a 2019 Genis Supreme 33CKXL I highly recommend this product.

I recommend this landing gear set to everyone!!!!! After 2 replacements of tandem landing gear sets performed by dealership under warranty and still struggling lifting my 5th wheel, I decided to purchase this upgrade on my own dime. Best money I’ve spent in years. These lift my 15,000-16,000 5th wheel with no issues. Consistent and quiet. I don’t stress out anytime I’m hitching or unhitching anymore. 100% recommend buying. I’ve already talked 2 of my friends to do this upgrade and they love it.
