Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.
I bought this bike rack back in April but wanted to make sure I used it to give the best review. First I want to say I did a lot of research on bike racks and found this one to be the best one to fit my needs. The best price I found was on etrailer.com, at the time it was When I called the customer service to place my order, I spoke to Dan. He was very pleasant on the phone and took the time and listened to what I needed and understood my concerns. I ordered the bike rack and also ordered the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device and the Thule Cable Lock w/ One Key System Lock. Dan suggested I also get the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, which I never even thought of getting. Delivery was in about two business days, which was really fast and at the time of order they were running a special free delivery over $99. When I went to put it together I noticed I was missing the flat cap screw M6 x 16mm, part number #853-5787-02. I emailed Dan and within 24 hours received an email that the part was sent out and also in the email their was a link to track the order. After I received the part I did notice that the flat cap screw was actually in the 2 inch adaptor sleeve. The instructions were very easy to read, and it took me about 20 minutes to put together. I did have an issue when I positioned the stinger into the cradle, with the 8mm locking nut, it was not staying tight and when I took it off I noticed the threads inside were gone, so I ended up going out to Lowes and buying a new one and its holds perfectly fine. I also had a question about that part because it is not a locking part and was worried someone would try to steal the rack. I contacted etrailer.com to find if they make a locking device for this and they said no but I can contact Thule to double check, I'm still waiting for an answer back from Thule. The weather finally broke and we installed the rack onto my hitch, tightened it and it doesn't rattle. When I finally used the rack and put my bike on, it did sway a little but at 50 mph I was very happy with it. The trailer comes out just enough away from my car that I do not have to fold completely out and I can open my trunk with no issues. I am very happy with my purchase and had a great customer experience with Dan. Would highly recommend ordering from them to anyone.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I own a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 31x10.5x15 oversized tires and wheels. I installed B6196001 HighRock 4x4 Oversize Tire Carrier by Bestop to carry larger spare tire. I needed a bike carrier that would carry our two crusier bikes and clear my spare tire. After measuring, I ordered: -> S64650 - Swagman 2-bike carrier -> 80300 - 7" Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver -> RM-061 - Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches Our order arrived very quickly, etrailer.com upgraded the shipping. All these products arrived well packaged and without damage. In 15 minutes I had every thing assembled, installed on my Jeep and bikes loaded. The bike carrier is very well constructed, finish is excellent and easy to adjust. When adjusting wheel loops and loading bikes, make sure you pay attention to bike pedal position. I chose this extension because I did not want to use the adapter that comes with the bike carrier, I wanted as few parts as possible to keep rattles to a minimum and gives me more options for towing. The anti-rattle bolt/pin firmly secures the bike carrier to the extension and the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch keeps the extension adapter from rattling in the receiver. Road tested approximately 25 miles over rough city roads ( including railroad tracks ), county roads and highway. Bikes traveled very well without any rattles. I can remove my complete setup quickly, fold and put in rear of Jeep if desired. I am very well pleased with my purchase. Note to etrailer: Please consider offering Roadmaster Quiet Hitch in black to match receiver and accessories. Paul In the Land of Oz . . . Just South of the Yellow Brick Road!
I like the overall design of this rack, but unfortunately after hauling a couple bikes around for a while the point where the crossbar connects has apparently rounded off so the rack swings back and forth. I've used rope to tie the ends of the rack to the car to stop this from getting worse, but it's inconvenient. Note: the hitch connection itself is good and solid, but the point where the crossbar connects to the bar coming from the hitch has gotten loose and there's no way that I can see to tighten it.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Curt Clamp-On Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 2" Ball Mounts
This is the best product online. I had to do a few adjustments to make room for the clamp on the trailer hitch. The particular ball hitch I had had a reinforcement welded to the ball which I had to have a piece taken off. Once it was filed down the clamp worked like a champ. Now I have a $200 bike rack that I purchased a year ago that is obsolete. The product arrived early and in good shape. I would definitely buy this bike rack and use this company again!
Great product that has served us well for over a year now mounted on a Draw-Tite 4285 draw bar with Curt A-90 ball, all purchased here. We can carry two bikes with this setup while pulling our small T@B travel trailer; not three due to limited clearance of our trailer's tongue jack, but that's all we need. It's fairly quick to setup & take down, though caution is required before releasing the tension when removing (I can mitigate the snapping together of the V supports by standing between the two horizontal support arms & keeping my own arms away from them). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I wish it was a few inches taller for better clearance between bikes & hitch coupler. It mounts very solidly though, and the sturdy rubber straps keep bikes secure. A hitch tightener can make it even more solid if the drawbar is loose. We've not had any problems after a dozen trips over the last year.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This two bike rack has been great for the occasional bike ride outside of our home area. I like the sturdy construction, but beware that it is a little heavier than it looks (I’m retired and a bit older so maybe not as strong). Easy to fit into the factory trailer hitch on our 5 passenger SUV and no problem securing the bikes for transport. My only complaint is, the stick on Yakima Graphic started coming apart the day we got it. Sorry, no free advertising for Yakima.
I used this product twice to go back and forth on a 700 mile trip (1400 miles total). My initial impression was that it was sturdy because it was larger than most 2 bike carriers I've seen. The strapping system is convenient and the locking system worked great. The only flaw so far is that one of the locking mechanisms actually broke off. After closer inspection, I realized that the parts are plastic. I'm not sure what actually caused it to break other than the force of hitting a pothole causing the bike to bounce on the rack. Those types of forces should be expected with normal driving however and I expected the locking mechanism to hold up. I was fairly disappointed that it happened given the asking price and the reviews I read prior to my purchase. Other than the locking mechanism on the actual bike rack, I wouldn't put to much faith in the red handled locking pin that inserts into the trailer hitch and insertion bar portion of the bike rack. It is understood that the pin does not go all the way through the insertion bar as the locking mechanism is inside and prevents further advancement. Yakima could probably improve this aspect of the product. I will be contacting Yakima to see if they will replace the broken part. One thing I did notice was that the broken bracket is screwed in and can be removed/replaced fairly easily. I have included pics of the broken bracket and working bracket for comparison. Hope this helps in your decision!

Curt Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Nice bike rack ! Saddles are well made and none of the ears that hold the straps in place have broken like they have with other brands I've owned. It came with 1 strap for each saddle and the straps seem just a tad stretchy. I looked on line and found that Home Depot has a good price for the straps so I now have 2 straps on each saddle. I've got it on a 1&1/4 hitch, but it came with an adapter for a 2 inch. It holds 3 road bikes. I used it all the time.
We are very happy with the Curt Bike Rack. It fits our 2 fat tire bikes and our tandem bike to the back of our motorhome with no problems.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
Excellent rack, a year later still in great condition. No movement at hitch when driving like other racks. Love the extra bar to work on bike in parking lot. Cracked a part on the rack when backing up accidentally hit it, I called the company and they immediately sent out new part no questions asked and rack is like new. Easy to access the drop and raise bar even with bikes on .A note that with larger mountain bikes only three really fit on the four rack without adjusting handle bars. Thanks to etrailer for stocking a great product and providing excellent post purchase service
My Kuat NV 2. Bike Rack is the best bike rack I have ever owned. It is excellent for electric bikes. Very easy to load bikes and holds bikes very securely.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
This thing is built like a tank! It is of the best fit and funtion I have seen in a bike rack! Solid as can be, fits my bikes perfectly and looks awesome! Plus it folds completely out of the way to access the rear liftgate on my 2022 Rav4!
Great service from etrailer and the rack arrived as expected. Fairly easy assembly. OK video on Kuat’s site, but didn’t cover the foot pedal. Really glad we got the 2” hitch. It tightened up and we’re impressed with the quality and the stability of the rack. We haven’t done a road test yet, but look forward to putting it to the test. We have a Ford F-150 and it works great. The bikes were fairly easy to load with the batteries out and two people. We do need the strap extenders for our RadMini Step Thru’s. The tires are too big for the ones that come with. Only one set of extenders came with the bike and one adapter for a smaller tire. It’s okay, but since it’s a two bike unit, would have been nice to have both extenders. Otherwise, we are really liking the look and stability.
Yakima FullTilt 5 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Dodge Durango
Hi, Matt here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima FullTilt Bike Rack on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. One of the main features that sets this hanging style bike rack from the other ones is it has the potential to carry five bikes at one time, each at 40 pounds and a maximum of 150 pounds. And since it makes contact with the bike rack, it's not gonna be compatible with carbon frame bike racks or alternative frame bike racks. And since its weight capacity is only 40 pounds, it will not be compatible with e-bikes either. Now if you do have an alternative style bike or a child's bike, we do have these adapter bars that make them compatible with the hanging frames. You do have these adjustable clips that keep your bikes in place.
Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Dodge Durango
Hi Matt here with the etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. This rack is capable of holding four bikes, 35 pounds each, has three straps, one on each tire and one on the frame. This is gonna prevent it from being carbon frame friendly, and it's not gonna be E-bike friendly either. Something we did notice about this bike rack is when we had our bike in this first spot here, the handle bars actually made contact with the back of the windshield, just barely, so we decided to move it on to this second rack here. And this is about a 29 inch handlebar length, so if you do have any bikes that are 29 and longer, I'd keep 'em on the third, the second rack and up. Now if you have any ones that have shorter lengths, I'd say they would fit here.
Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Dodge Durango
Hi Matt here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Kuat NV Base on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. Since our Kuat NV Base is a premium bike rack, it has the ability to tilt back. So all we'll have to do is press down on this lever and let it tilt back, kind of cradling the back end. Now we'll have access to our back hatch. Now keep in mind that we do have 29" handlebars, and that barely makes clearance. So if you have anything wider, I'd definitely put that on the other rack back here.
Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Dodge Durango
Hi, Matt here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 on the 2022 Dodge Durango. This is a platform-style bike rack capable of holding two bikes, 35 pounds each, has three points of contact, one on each tire, and one in the center on the frame. What this means, is it's not gonna be e-bike friendly, because it won't be able to hold that much weight, or it won't be carbon frame friendly, because it's attached directly to the frame. A neat function with this bike rack as well, is gonna be this padded strap. So what's nice about this, is it rotates and adjusts up and down. So overall, that's gonna be really nice for if you have an alternative frame bike, it's gonna fit even kid bikes as well.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts GuideRail on our 2022 Dodge Durango. The GuideRail is going to be a platform style bike rack able to accommodate up to two bikes with an individual weight capacity for 60 pounds each. Our two main points of contact are going to be these ratcheting lever arms, one for the front tire and one for the back tire. And what those two things basically mean together is that our heavier electric E-bikes, our carbon frame bikes and our alternative frame bikes are all going to work with this platform, which is really nice that we can carry a big variety of bikes that cannot only help suit your car but also whatever bike that you have. The GuideRail does also have a tilt away feature where we're just going to pull the lever located at the bottom of the rack and then slowly tilt it down allowing us that full hatch access.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Dodge Durango RKY37ZR
Hey, everybody. Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty on our 2022 Dodge Durango. Now, the AfterParty is going to be a two platform style bike rack allowing us to accommodate up to two bikes with an individual weight capacity of 60 pounds each. We're gonna have two main points of contact going to be these ratcheting arms here one for our front tire and one from our back tire. And what that basically means altogether is that our heavier electric E-bikes, our carbon frame bikes, and as well as our alternative frame bikes are going to be compatible with this system.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0, on our 2022 Dodge Durango. Now the NV 2.0 is going to be a platform style bike rack that can accommodate up to two bikes, with a individual weight capacity for 60 pounds each. And if you take a look at our two main points of contact it's going to be our back wheel strap here and our front hook, meaning we're not making any frame contact. So overall, what that all means, is that our heavier e-bikes, our carbon frame bikes, and our alternative frame bikes are going to work with this platform. Which is a really good thing here, because the bike rack can kind of essentially grow with you, if you find yourself changing out different bike styles.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Dodge Durango KU38ZR
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Kuat Piston Pro three-bike platform rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Dodge Durango. Now with a Kuat Piston Pro, it's gonna be an impressive bike rack. It has its one tap piston that secure your bikes by its front and rear wheels, making it easier to load and unload those bikes and it looks pretty cool. But it's also pretty heavy. So fortunately for the Durango, it does have that weight capacity to carry the bike rack and the bikes.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Dodge Durango KU24FR
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have a Kuat Transfer v2 Three-Bike Platform Rack, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Dodge Durango. So with this bike rack, this is gonna be a popular entry-level Kuat rack, which allows you to carry up to three bikes. Plus, it has that unique goalpost design that makes it easier to load and unload your bikes. Plus, it takes up less space when in the compact position. The downside, though, for our Durango is because you have a larger hatch and the transfer doesn't really tilt that far down, you won't be able to fully open it up. In fact, let's take a look at that process.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline right here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at how the RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Out Bike Rack fits on the 2021 Dodge Durango. So the AfterParty is gonna be a dual-wheel mount rack with a high weight capacity for heavy electric bikes. It's pretty much the same as the RockyMounts Guide Rail, but it has an extra feature which is that this can swing out towards the passenger side. Now some things on the Durango, especially with this hitch receiver, is that this is gonna have a lot of height compared to other bike racks. So if you do have a 60-pound bike, that's something you have to consider is that you have to lift that up and onto this rack.
Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey there, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Tire Hold HD two bike platform rack for your heavy electric bikes and we'll see how it fits here on our 2021 Dodge Durango. So the HD is gonna be really good for those heavy bikes with a weight capacity of 80 pounds per bike. Awesome, very impressive. Now for a Durango though, there are some things you're gonna have to consider with this vehicle. The first one is that it's gonna be really high up off the ground, so I highly recommend grabbing the Inno Tire Hold ramp that's sold separately, add-on accessory that instead of having to lift the bikes up and onto the rack, you can then just ramp them down. The second thing is that your tilt away functions you do lose out on with this car.
Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer and today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E on our 2021 Dodge Durango. We are going to have a platform-style bike rack able to hold up to two bikes. Individually rated for that impressive 70 pounds each. So our heavier e-bikes like the one we have on here today are going to be an option for it. We are making that frame contact, so while alternative frame bikes might be able to squeeze in, unfortunately our carbon frame bikes are not going to be an option. First thing we're gonna show you is it's tilt away feature and it is easy to engage from the back end more.
Swagman Skaha 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Skaha 2 on our 2021 Dodge Durango. The Skaha 2 is going to be a platform style bike rack able to hold two bikes, individually weight rated for 60 pounds each, which means that our heavier e-bikes are going to be an option for this. Our two main points of contact are gonna be first, our hook on our front wheel, and then a strap for our back wheel meaning we're not making any frame contact. So our alternative frame bikes as well as those carbon frame bikes are gonna be an option for this bike rack too. One of the nice things about the Skaha 2 is it does offer a tilt away function.
Hollywood Racks RV Rider 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks RV Rider on our 2021 Dodge Durango. This rack is going to be a platform style bike rack able to accommodate up to two bikes individually rated for 80 pounds each, which means that our heavier electric e-bikes are definitely going to be an option with this. We are, however, making contact on our center mast as our main point of contact here. So our carbon frame bikes might not be able to fit on this rack, but the ability to slip our knob and have this go up and down the mast definitely means that our alternative frame bikes are going to find a home on this. Now while our rack does come with a tilt away feature, unfortunately that tilt is not aggressive enough to clear the back hatch on our Durango.
Kuat Piston Pro X 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat Piston Pro X on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Now our bike rack is going to be a premium platform style bike rack, by allowing us to hold two bikes weighed at 67 pounds individually. It does come with a lot of really nice premium features that we'll kind of get into throughout the video. First thing we're gonna show off is the tilt away by pulling our lever here in the middle of our bike rack. Alright, we'll tilt away.
Swagman XC2 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey, everybody. Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman XC2 on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Our bike rack is going to be a platform-style bike rack, only weighted for 35 pounds each per bike. We are going to be making that frame contact. So between the weight rating and our frame contact, that means that our e-bikes as well as our carbon frame bikes, are not unfortunately, gonna be an option for this bike rack.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody. Cooper here at Etrailer, and today we're going to be looking at our Thule Hitching Post Pro on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Our bike rack is going to be a hanging style bike rack. Able to accommodate up to four bikes individually rated at 35 pounds each. Now obviously since it is a hanging style bike rack we are going to be making that frame contact, which means that carbon frame bikes aren't really an option for this. And also with that 35 pound rating heavier e-bikes aren't going to be an option as well.
Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Our bike rack is going to be a platform style bike rack being able to hold two bikes at 80 pounds each, meaning we're gonna be able to accompany those heavier e-bikes. Our main point of contact though is this hook right here. That is going to sit in the middle of your frame. So unfortunately our carbon frame bikes are not going to be an option and on this rack.
Yakima OnRamp E-Bike Platform Rack with Ramp Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Our bike rack here is going to be a platform style bike rack, being able to hold up to two bikes for us each. Individually, those bikes can be up to 66 pounds so those heavier e-bikes are gonna be an option for this bike rack. Do keep in mind though, if you put this on an RV or take it offroading, your weight capacity is going to drop down to 40 pounds per bike. So really, just make sure you understand what kind of conditions you're going to be using this bike rack in.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey, everybody. Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at our RockyMounts GuideRail on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Our bike rack is going to be a platform style bike rack. It will carry two bikes individually rated at 60 pounds each, which means that our heavier e-bikes are going to be an option for this bike rack. Also though, our points of contact are going to be this dual wheel design, so that means we're not going to be making any frame contact at all.
Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium hanging style bike rack on our 2021 Dodge Durango. Now the Curt Premium, like I said, is a hanging style bike rack that is going to be weight rated for 180 pounds. So you can divide that up however you would like amongst different bikes. Because we are holding onto them by their frame, that means our carbon frame bikes unfortunately are not gonna be a great fit for this. However, because of the tapering off here at the edge, we are able to accommodate some kids' bikes.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Dodge Durango
How's it going everyone Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Hitch Bike Rack and we're gonna see how it fits on our 2021 Dodge Durango. It's gonna be a great entry level way to get up to four bikes where you need 'em to go. The Destination 4 will be a platform style bike rack which means it's gonna hold our bike up by the tires here down at the bottom and it's capable of supporting four bikes up to 35 pounds a piece. Primarily gonna hold onto them with this rotating padded clamp here on our center mast. So it does make frame contact and we recommend not using this with carbon frame bikes. It could potentially damage them while we're driving but because we can slide up and down that center mast a little bit and the pads do rotate 180 degrees, then we should be able to accommodate a bunch of different alternative frame style bikes We also have our secondary points of contact being the straps down, one at the front and one at the back wheel.
