If you wanna transport your skis and your snowboards but you don't wanna keep them in the back, a roof mounted skiing snowboard carrier like this is a great option. This is gonna be a more premium option and it's gonna have some features that we'll get into in just a little bit. The carrier, as you see here, is the four version which means it's capable of holding up to four pairs of skis or two snowboards. But there is also a version available that is the sixth version, which can hold six skis or four boards.

The carrier we have here holds up to four pairs of skis or two boards. But it is available in a six option, capable of holding up to six skis or four boards. Or additionally, because of the rubber molding that we'll get into a little bit later, you can actually hold up to six fishing rods in warmer weather seasons as well. The ski and snowboard carrier is just on the beginning of your higher level ski and snowboard carriers.

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be a test fit of the Yakima FatCat. This is going to be your ski and snowboard carrier. It's going to mount up on the top of your roof rack system. It's going to be part number Y03088. As you can see we do have our after market roof racks installed on our vehicle. FatCat assembly and ski and snowboard carrier will fit most all of your roof rack systems, whether it be your square bars, your round bars, your elliptical bars, even your factory roof rack systems and aero blades. So first things first, we're going to detach the strap from the grove there and set it up on top of the vehicle, making sure that we have the lock assembly side towards the outside that we would like to use.

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a fit of the Whispbar Ski and Snowboard Carrier. This is going to be for 6 skis and or 4 snowboards part #WB-300. As you can see up on our vehicle, we do have our aftermarket roof rack installed, and we're going to show you how it looks on the back one here. This will fit either your elliptical bars, square bars, round bars, factory roof bars, and even your aero-type roof rack systems. First thing we're going to do is make sure we have the straps undone and place it up on top of our bar. Once we've done so, let's get up top, so we have a better vantage point. Up top here you'll see that we can't quite get the strap around into the slot, so we'll need to loosen it up a little bit, rotating that red dial to the left.

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Wisbar locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with a 6-ski or 4-board capacity, part number WB-300. With a factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll take the front half of our carrier and place it onto our front bar. We'll bring the rubber-coated strap around our bar, fitting it back into the foot of the carrier. We'll push the oversize button here on the end of our carrier to open up our jaw. We'll flip up the thumb tab, tighten it, and then push it back down. We'll move to the other side and repeat this process. Now we'll grab the other half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. It's important that we make sure that both halves of our carrier are in line with each other.

Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number Y03088. To begin our test fit, we'll set the first part of the carrier onto the front cross bar. We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the cross bar and hook them into position. We'll then turn the red knob on the inside top part of the bracket to tighten down the straps. We'll then open up the carrier to expose the black levers. We'll tighten down the black levers and clamp them down into position, securing the carrier to the vehicle.

What is up everybody, Adam here with the Etrailer and it's ski season. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FatCat six on my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. It comes in silver and also comes in black. It's gonna be able to get your gear to the slope so you can go ahead and have yourself a day. The FatCat six is designed to fit up to four snowboards or six skis, depending on the width of your skis though and the width of your snowboards. You might be able to fit a little bit more on there, but it is a safe bet that six skis and four snowboards are gonna fit up on here.
