Best 2023 Ram 2500 Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

Perfect for all 3 of my trailers that ride at different heights and have 2 different ball sizes. Additionally the stow option is great for daily use of my truck on job sites and it prevents me from hitting my shins.

Looks amazing, came as advertised with quick shipping. Super easy to adjust for different balls and heights. No more swapping out receivers when I go from 2" to 2-5/8 tongues. Would have gotten 5 stars if a hitch pin was included, especailly at this price point. Interested to see how it holds up over time.

Needed the extra drop of this hitch for a couple different trailers. Used it for only three days in its lowest drop position to tow a single axle trailer that was by no means even heavily loaded. Then another day later I needed to tow a skid steer and needed to adjust the height of the hitch. The problem was that where the two components meet there was a bunch of rubbing and it mashed the aluminum. I couldn’t adjust the hitch up or down. I ended up having to use a hammer to get it to move. Not super impressed with this product to say the least.

I have had a flash E series 10 inch drop hitch for about a year. It was delivered very fast. It has not rusted at all and has performered very well. I didnt research the drop of 10 inches enough and my hitch has hit the pavement a couple of times going into rises at gas stations. I could have gotten away with an 8 inch for my stock 2500 2018 GMC truck. I am happy with my purchase.

Very happy with the hitch. Looked FOREVER all over for details when I got my new to me 2017 Ram 2500. This truck sits so dang high off the ground (4x4) I was worried about getting the proper range of drop for my different trailers. I used my 7x14 utility trailer as my baseline as it rides the lowest. From ground to bottom of my ball coupler is approx 16in. From ground to top of my hitch receiver is approx 25in. On the lowest setting my trailer sits ever so slightly nose totally empty. Check the pic with level. Once loaded I'm confident it will ride very nice. Plus I have all the range to move up for my taller trailers. Super beefy, seems well built, and I picked up the locking pins to go with. Etrailer as always had a great price and I've been ordering from them for years.

Although I have not towed with the Curt 2-ball mount, it fits into my hitch nicely and is very well made. I love that I can adjust the height and have 2 ball size options to choose from. Curt has always been a go to for me.

This piece offers great range and utility, up-20,000 lbs and 2,000 lbs tongue weight. It is a little heavy for on off (best if you can just leave it in place) but I expect it will last forever as it is all steel construction. Switching the height and or ball size couldn't be easier, loosen the rattle screw, pull the pins adjust and replace, done. Regular lock works fine at the receiver, although the lock I bought is only rated to 10000 lbs, not sure if there are higher rated locks available -back to the pin for a heavy load for the moment. The outside of the channel is essentially 4" wide, so you have to look for an extra long lock if you need/want to get a lock for the hitch ball. Again, trying to get a lock that matches the hitch's tow capacity may be challenging.

If own a truck with a 2 1/2 hitch box this is the tow hitch ball kit! This is the Hulk of hitches! Great quality and durability. There is nothing I can tow or pull out of out of a muddy ditch! I’ve owned many truck and bought hitches. This is my first time with a 2 1/2 box and I feel very confident. The best hitch I’ve ever owned!

The Gen-Y hitch is a beast and should last forever. It weights approx 55 lbs. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet and I hope that it doesn’t rust like I have seen in some reviews on YouTube etc. My big disappointment is the fact that it does not take my 2 1/2” to 2” sleeve (the 2 ball mount is 2 1/2”) so I can use another hitch with it to move a small trailer that rides lower than this hitch goes. I even talked to someone at Gen-Y to verify that it would work. They said it would. IT DOES NOT. To much pain to send it back. I’m sure I would have to pay shipping.

Really solid hitch. Feel very confident towing a heavy boat. The height adjustment and multiple balls are great features. Stows away nicely. Make sure you have a locking pin of equal towing capacity to attach to your hitch receiver.
