Very heavy duty ladder rack that does not "whistle" while you drive down the road. Easy install overall, and it is very easy to install and remove the racks as needed after the original install. At the time of purchase this was not available for my vehicle with a short 5.5' bed, but with very minor fabrication the rails for longer beds fit perfectly. I have recommended this rack to several people since purchased a year ago.

Great product! Packaging could be better for the larger pieces (rub marks). My 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab came with some small challenges that I had to solve myself. No videos or written words available. Basically if your bed rails are covered with a bed liner you need to remove the plastic sleeve in the rear stake pockets. Otherwise you won’t get an equal spacing from one rail to the other. You will also need to use the provided rubber tape with the wedges in order to make the rails level. Otherwise it went together great.

It's a nice rack, sturdy and well thought out. However, the statement that it will fit a 2024 Toyota Tacoma is misleading. I did get it to fit, but it took a weekend of altering and fabricating parts. This is more a problem of the design of the truck than of the rack. The J-bolts are useless for this application. I had to unbolt the silly little plastic strip under the plastic rail on the truck and replace that with angle iron, then cut the rack's feet and re-weld some of the the round thingees where the J bolts would have gone through if the truck was built differently. Another option would be to drill and tap the metal rails under the plastic rails, but who wants to drill into a brand new truck? The etrailer people were super helpful but the Erickson people were not helpful at all.

Should work fine as intended. It is a bear to assemble. Tons of bolts I am worried will loosen over time. Just installed it today. Let’s see how it goes.

Very well built and easy to install. Looks much nicer the the tubular rack on my old truck. I love that I can use this with my tonneau cover.

Product was carefully designed and the fit and finish are nice, but when you have to break out your taps to finish the job then one has to wonder about quality control. I would expect this sort of foolishness from a "b" grade item.

Best rack on the market, and I’ve owned many! This is my second set of TracRac ladder rack systems. The first in 2006, and it was still going strong until I sold the truck with the rack on it, and now this one I purchased in 2022. Unfortunately, this will be my last one as it will take me into retirement, but it will live on with the new owner that buys this truck! Thank you for manufacturing such a good quality product. Great rack for the money. Installation took about 2 hours as I didn't have the right sized ratchet socket pieces in my set. Once on it was great. Solid construction. Took my 14ft stand up paddleboard quite a few times and held up with speeds over 65mph.

Install wasn’t horrible but I can’t imagine removing it often. The stops naturally don’t slide on the rail but can be relocated without tools which is nice. Seems sturdy. The cons, it’s steel and has started rusting after two weeks in places the paint wore off during install. I will have to clean it up and repaint it to keep it from looking horrible. In addition, the J bolts sit pretty far off the side of my 2007 F150 so the bracket is hanging off the rim inside about an invh. Once all together it doesn’t seem to matter but would be more comfortable if it sat tight. Overall, it gets the job done but if looking for pretty, get something that doesn’t rust.

Great product. I use it to haul kayaks and lumber. It's surprisingly strong and sturdy. I put 300 lbs of lumber on it and never heard so much as a squeak. Installation was straightforward. I'll definitely buy another one for my next truck.

So far, so good. It arrived on time. The only things broken were two of the plastic "insert" pieces that go between the rails, but thankfully I only have a 5 1/2' bed, so I didn't really need them. I had it installed by the mechanics I was taking my truck to for other work and they said it installed pretty easily and one of the mechanics is going to get one for his own personal truck. We practiced setting it up and taking it down before I left. I can definitely do this on my own. I absolutely LOVE this product. I didn't want something that "whistled in the wind" or created drag every day even when I wasn't hauling the kayaks, so this is perfect. Thank you!

Box was broken on delivery I notified them and they told Me if anything was missing that they would take care of it. Come to find out everything was still there. Everything went together perfectly. Thank you for the communication. Look forward to working again with you all in the future

Rack has worked great hauling 20 foot lumber, 17 foot kayaks and standup paddle boards. The only issue I have had is the front cantilever bar over the cab is about 1" from the roof. If I hit a bump in the road it hits the top of the cab. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab short bed. Wish there was a little more clearance between the cross bar and cab.

Chose this rack because it is compatible with the Access Lorado Tonneau Cover. The rack is very well made and simple to install and remove, which I do often due to fifth wheel towing. I use this rack often for ladders and canoes, as well as long length construction materials. Etrailer is lightning fast with shipping, customer service is great and their prices, including free shipping, cannot be beat. Very satisfied with Etrailer and the Adarac!

After a year of service, it has held up well. Have hauled lumber, ladders, and trim (16' pieces). It is a game changer. One of the greates pperks is being able to remove the racks when my family and I go on vacation. I also have the cantilever extension. You will need it to carry 16' material. Just be sure to secure the caps on the extension bar better. They are not metal like the other Trackrac bar caps. They are plastic with 1 screw holding it in place. One cap has dissapeared on me while driving. I cannot find a replacement as the extension bar cap is a different size than the standard TracRac bar caps.

I think it's a great ladder rack for step ladders and shorter extension ladders. I qwould support anything longer than a 16 footer. It was easy to put together and works really well for what I need and with my tonneau coover

The new rack looks great and I was able to do the assembly myself. Only problem was one bracket wasn’t drilled by the manufacturer and I drilled it myself. I do not hear any whistling from the rack while driving.

I did install the Thule TracRac SR. I did it on my own and it went well. I'm really pleased with it. As for the photo, I will send you one, once I've washed my truck. Can't make a photo with a dirty truck. I will leave feedback later after some time with the rack.

Tried to get this locally installed. They said there were none available and couldn't order it. Basically I left there feeling disappointed. After a Little research I decided to try etrailer. The people there are great and exceeded my expectations. They ordered it from the manufacturer and had it shipped directly from them. It arrived before I anticipated it would and I did the installation myself. Great product..thanks
