Just received the Truck Bed ladder rack yesterday and began to install it on my 2013 Nissan Frontier this morning. The package arrived in great shape. The rack looks great so far, it's well built and should handle everything I'll need it for; lumber and ladders. It's super easy to install. The only negative I have is I wish the triangular stops were easy to remove when not in use and easy to reinstall when needed. I may come up with something. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought this in conjunction with some kayak racks to carry 2 kayaks while pulling our TT in Nissan Frontier crew cab with short bed. Works great, does its job, not too hard to uninstall. Only warning to future users, if you have a utility track in the bed you may have to use a mallet to pound the J hooks to wiggle around the track when removing the rack.

Should work fine as intended. It is a bear to assemble. Tons of bolts I am worried will loosen over time. Just installed it today. Let’s see how it goes.

This rack exceeded my expectations. The quality is second to none. Installation was quick and if required, removal is even quicker. Adding this rack to my Nissan Frontier has given me much more functionality and increased capability. Best rack on the market, and I’ve owned many! This is my second set of TracRac ladder rack systems. The first in 2006, and it was still going strong until I sold the truck with the rack on it, and now this one I purchased in 2022. Unfortunately, this will be my last one as it will take me into retirement, but it will live on with the new owner that buys this truck! Thank you for manufacturing such a good quality product. The rack is great. Simple to install, extremely sturdy & very well designed. I drove it to Cars & Coffee yesterday & someone asked me what I needed to haul or if I merely installed them "because they look cool." The young lady, Janeth, that helped me was really great! Smart, polite, patient, & above all... knowledgeable about product. I would suggest selling the rack specific for Retrax bed cover. The amount of hardware left over when you add the adapter kit to the standard rack seems really excessive. Rather than be $169 add, it should be a deduct of at least that much.

I had a Thule rack for almost 10 years, but new truck came with a tonneau and the Thule I had was not compatible. This is very solid with the tonneau adapters.Its not as easy to adjust as the Thule but only adjusting a couple times a year, it's ok.

I have not used it yet but i did install it on my truck. may main use is going to be for kayaks. i have a 5 ft beed nissan and a 13 1/2 ft kayak so this will def help out. product seems to be very sturdy.

I'm extremely pleased at the way etrailer/Erickson truck rack turned out, and how easy it was to assemble, just one glance at the instructions and I was able to put together without even thinking about it. etrailers videos were also very helpful. rock-solid, no swaying or movement, no noise or sound coming from it whatsoever, very aerodynamic. Works seamlessly with the retrax rollup cover and not too hard to install. Adjusting the height takes a little bit of work but that is only done on a very limited basis. Allows me to carry my kayaks, a cargo box if I need extra space or paddles & fishing rods so they don't get damaged by closing the tailgate on them.

I split two rack systems to allow us to carry larger ladders. Outstanding service and info from trainer to help make this happen! CSR reps were great to work with.

Delivery was fast as usual. The installation does take a couple hours and is much easier with a second set of hands. I have a drop in bed liner on my F150 so I did have to do some cutting but my oscillating tool made that a quick modification. Make sure to use the no seize on the bolts so they don't heat up when cranking them into place. Lastly, there are NO drain holes in the bottom of the tubes and believe me they do fill with water and ice in cold temps. I drilled two 1/2 in. holes in the sides at the bottom so they can drain but if I realized there were no weep holes I would have drilled a hole in the bottom of each before installation. After drilling the hole, make sure to coat with a primer and some paint to prevent rusting. Other than what I encountered they will serve their purpose and seem good overall.

I’ve been using this ladder rack for a year now and it has stood the test of time. I love the ability to remove the arms when I’m not using them so my tonneau cover can be closed. Highly recommended for the occasional need for a tough ladder rack.

Order confirmed on Nov. 28, shipped Nov. 30th Arrived Dec. 2nd. Very pleased with the prompt delivery this time of year. Opened the box and the racks look fantastic. Can’t wait to get them on as I am in the beginning stages of building 12x16 shed, and will need the racks to transport rafters.

Very heavy duty ladder rack that does not "whistle" while you drive down the road. Easy install overall, and it is very easy to install and remove the racks as needed after the original install. At the time of purchase this was not available for my vehicle with a short 5.5' bed, but with very minor fabrication the rails for longer beds fit perfectly. I have recommended this rack to several people since purchased a year ago.

Great product! Packaging could be better for the larger pieces (rub marks). My 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab came with some small challenges that I had to solve myself. No videos or written words available. Basically if your bed rails are covered with a bed liner you need to remove the plastic sleeve in the rear stake pockets. Otherwise you won’t get an equal spacing from one rail to the other. You will also need to use the provided rubber tape with the wedges in order to make the rails level. Otherwise it went together great.

etrailer.com is an outstanding company. I purchased a Thule system in January. Due to logistics (my fault) I tried to install the system in April. Three of the attachment arms were incorrect. I contacted Ashley of etrailer, the sales representative who sold me the system, who patiently listened and after receiving the needed photos and explanation, etrailer sent me a replacement system.
