Best 2019 Kia Sorento Hitch Adapters

It worked, till it didn't. It's a short smaller tube inside a larger tube, only held together by two spot welds. The spot welds split/detached allowing the inner sleeve free movement! I have a bike w stinger expanded to grip the inner tube and a little safety catch on outside. The safety catch was the only thing keeping my rack from sliding completely off! For the price this should've been a solid milled piece. Don't rely on these welds unless you have two through hitch pins one on car and one through the adapter end.

Based on an initial fit, the bike rack stinger is a bit loose in the reducer. If tightening the threaded pin does not reduce the wobble, I can add some shims since I intend to keep the reducer mounted on the bike rack. The reducer is an easy fit into the 2" receiver - the Quiet Hitch removed any movement.

I ordered this adapter from e-Trailer so I could extend my bike rack past my spare tire on my 2005 Honda CRV. This solved my problem and this thing is well made to take the weight. I'm glad I purchased from e-trailer because I know now that they sell quality products as I have also purchased a new receiver, ball mount and 2' ball to pull my trailer. Just received my 80307 Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 8" Long. My newly upsized spare tire had been preventing the use of my hitch rack. This ain't pretty. But size does matter. The 58102 2" X 2 1/2" receiver adapter hits the spot. It fits nicely into the 2 1/2" receiver with, at most, 1/8" space "slap" room. It's almost full length front to back inside receiver providing plenty of support for my 2" weight distribution system without slap. I have not hooked up my Forest River 29'4", 10,7 75 lb. GVWR Puma tow behind R/V but I do not have any fear of this well constructed, perfect fitting receiver adapter. The people at etrailer are there, willing and able to assist you. I have personally found that, if the C.S. Rep doesn't know the answer, she/he will find the answer and report back to you, in my case within minutes. My purchase was delivered (snail mail) within 5 days and In excellent condition. I will report back shortly after a trial run hooked up.

I use the extender on my bike rack so I can access my tailgate and truck bed with the rack on. It does what it supposed to do and looks barely used although I travel to trails twice a week.

I am very happy with this purchase. The swing out is well constructed and appears to be very durable. Other product reviewers comaplained their swing out would bend under pressure. I cannot envision this swing out every doing that. I like the FlatLock hitch feature that tightens the swing out to hitch connection.

From purchase to delivery went well excellent job to all. God is great I give him all the praise for helping me get this done. I was in an accident which damaged my swing away hitch and Hollywood rv back rack.these are built very well I would recommend.

This is going to be great to be able to swing out bikes out of the way so we can get in the back of the jeep.

Exactly what I was looking for. Can swing the bikes out of the way to access the truck bed. Locks back into position and I am not worried about it being secure.

Product quality is fine, however, tried to use with an ebike rack on upper hitch and flat tow hitch on bottom. Vehicle sway at highway speeds was too much, and I found bike rack on back of the towed Jeep was better.

2” or 4” up/down is the solution I needed for a flat tow, 4” lower drop and a 2 bike rack, 2” rise. Very well constructed and looking for years of service out of this drop/rise combination!

Wanted to be able to combine tow hitch and bike hitch. This required a 2" drop and a 4" rise with a 10K lb capability. Etrailer.com came thru with product, price, special free shipping, and great customer service. Ordered on Sun and received on Wed and installed on Thur and ready to go!

I have included some photos of the hitch extension. The first two are just on my truck without and with the extension. Without the extension, note the proximity of bike handlebars to the tailgate. In the second photo with the extension, the handlebars are much removed from the tailgate. Note that this is a ¾ ton truck with an insert in the receiver. With the insert in place, the front holes of extension did not align with the receiver. It was short 1/8 to 3/16 inch. If needed, I could solve this issue with a smaller bolt. The next photos are without and with the extension in the receiver of our RV. With the cover on RV the dramatic effect of extension is not so obvious. In the first photo without the extension, the handlebars of bike literally contact the back of RV. In contrast in the second photo, the handlebars are 5 to 6 inches from the back of the RV. Though there are no road trips yet, I am confident that the hitch extension will protect the bike and importantly will protect the back of the RV. I hope that these comments and photos are useful to you. If no, I can try again in spring when we remove cover from the RV.

This is a much higher quality (thick and heavy) than I imagined it would be; I'm pleasantly surprised. I'll be using it to mount a trailer hitch cargo carrier and a dog step at the same time when we go on long vacations.

The hitch has held up over Alaskan roads towing a jeep, but it does not sit level in the receiver so the tiny little bit that it sags is exaggerated when the tow bar is connected. Paint starting to peel with wear after a year.

This is solidly built. Adjustable heights to make towing my jeep set up perfect. Blue Ox tow bar with this hitch is the right set up.

I was surprised by just how solid and heavy it was made. Just what I needed to move my Bobcat UTV hitch back to I can use it as my yard dog to shift my trailers around and not worry about the plastic tailgate nor the plastic bed getting damaged. The hitch sits under the bed and this extends it out so it is useable.

Work great! I needed an extension due to my truck camper. It holds my heavy duty bike rack and 2 ebikes with no problems.

Structurally strong! Chain and turnbuckles created an extension for my RV extension bumper with storage box. Thought with chains it might need constant re-tightening but has remained tight, after initial trip of 5500mi. Of towing car dolly!

I use this to haul my travel trailer with my tailgate open and my RZR in the bed of the truck. It goes together easily and is extremely solid when mounted. Much stronger than just an extension tube.
