Hey everybody, how's it goin' Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the long view custom fit towing mirrors here on the 2018 Ram 1500. So, here is our mirror face. You can see it's nice and large and they sort of use all the contours that came here to give you the best visibility possible. Now, this is a flat plane surface here. It's not convex or concave and it's very easy to adjust to your specific trailer and needs. Just simply take your finger there.

Whenever we use a towing mirror, what it's gonna do is really help broaden our field of view, so we're gonna be able to see a lot better. So just to kind of give you an example of that. As you can see, I am visible in the towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. That said, though, if I take a few steps closer over to our camper here, I'll disappear out of the towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.

Today on our 2018 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA universal fit clip on towing mirror, which is also sold as a pair. Our towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view when we're towing a trailer, making our travel much safer. So as you can see here, I'm clearly visible in our factory mirror but as I take a step towards the outside I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror but I can clearly be seen in our towing mirror. When it's installed your mirrors can still be adjusted fully on both the factory mirror and on your towing mirror. Now we've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer with our towing mirror installed. In our factory mirror, we have clear visibility to the back of our trailer. So if I step out to the side, we're gonna lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror.This is going to help whenever we're driving with our trailer, trying to pass vehicles on the road, or trying to park our trailer. The Snap and Zap Towing Mirror is going to extend your line of sight behind your vehicle. We can manually adjust our mirror to change our line of sight.
