Product itself is fantastic...however etrailer's rep misinformed me that it would work with our fifth wheel and when we got it, it did not. It was a very bad time too as we were moving into our fifth wheel and getting ready to move 2500 miles across the country. THANKFULLY the owner of Convertaball was willing to walk us through a fix, which worked. This was my first negative interaction with etrailer and the only time, so far, that I've been disappointed in them.

I have been using the Ranch Hitch #3100 Straight Adapter for 3 years. Converting the 5th wheel to goose neck was awesome. Much easier to hook up and a smoother, quieter pull. After purchasing a new trailer I noticed that the trailer was too close to the cab of my short bed truck. I found the Ranch Hitch #3139 with 8" offset adapter. It installs easy and gives me 8 more inches away from my truck cab. Excellent! Turning corners is much more comfortable!

The hitch itself is firm and sturdy but we had to modify it right out of the box. The bolts that hold the shaft in place were too long and did not fit in the opening of our truck bed. We also had to buy a new gooseneck ball because the ball was too low for the sleeve to reach all the way down the ball. So the ball we had to buy had a one inch tall shaft which made it just barely tall enough to work. As I mentioned, the hitch is great but the two modifications and hours of trying to figure it out and ordering new parts to make it work was a massive bummer. The two truck bed brands were Knapheide and EBY.

Very nice hitch. Easy to install and the height adjustment makes it easy to adjust the height of the trailer.

Products fit properly, I haven’t used it yet with my 5th wheel hitch but appears to be sturdy and should work well. Easy to switch form 5th wheel hitch to gooseneck ball.

Used the Companion hitch to convert gooseneck ball mount to 5th wheel hitch. Companion fits perfectly inside the well of my flatbed and is easy to remove to use the gooseneck ball and easy to re-install. The hitch is very secure and tows my RV quite smoothly. There is no back and forth movement and I couldn’t be happier with it. Easy to hook up and disconnect the trailer. Highly recommended. Etrailer staff was very helpful in helping me find the right equipment to meet my needs.

Hitch is great, B&W products are exceptional. Had the turnover ball mounted on a Douglass flatbed. Purchased the fifth wheel hitch for a 37 ft two axle toy hauler. Pulls great, easy installation. Make sure to make all the appropriate measurements before purchasing. There were some shipping issues. etrailer failed to send a bolt bag initially. Took a while to get that rectified, but all is well.

Ordered on Friday afternoon and received the following Tuesday. Very simple installation. No longer have to crank the gooseneck up or down to connect to truck. Very satisfied with this product and the price was very reasonable.

I ordered the Bulldog adapter because I believe their quality is good. The construction of the Bulldog hitch adapter was good. However, the 4” tube was not perfectly round, approximately.030 out of round. This shouldn’t have been an issue, but since my trailer is used and had a Temco hitch originally, the tube wouldn’t slip in. I chucked the Bulldog in the lathe and skimmed .030 of the diameter and it went right in. This review is not written to criticize Etrailer or Bulldog. Just be aware if you’re working with a different brand hitch other than what is listed, there is a possibility of fitment issues.

I am waiting for my trailer to be ready for pickup, but the unit fit my Pullrite universal type 3365 capture plate fit without any modifications. I did have to remove a few of the extra shims sent with the plate, but that is expected. Pulliam industries said I may need a 3317 plate. They also said the 3317 plate will work on just about any adapter with a kingpin. My hitch came with a 3365, so I tried to find an adaptor that would work. I was successful. The items ships raw steel and will be rusting when you receive it. I will paint it myself. I wish it was painted at the factory.

I had an issue with this not sitting all the way down into by gooseneck. I have to place my backhoe bucket down into this for my bolts to engage...What a pain in the neck. Wish there was a easy way to fix this, but I feel the only way is to mill the piece or shim my existing gooseneck under the bed.

Fits perfectly into curt goose neck hitch. My reese 5th wheel hitch fits on the rails perfect. I haul dirt bikes in my truck so being able to take the rails out is perfect..... nothing in the way of loading or unloading

This adapter allowed me to quickly install a fifth wheel hitch in my single wheel shortbed truck which had a gooseneck hitch without any extra installation work, other than just dropping it in. Easily installed and has worked well with a slider hitch.

Shipping was fast. Experience with e trailer was good as always. Part was not so impressive. Plate where welded onto tube was not in line with the holes causing the hitch to not align with the trailer. Other than alignment hitch adapter looks and feels sturdy and robust.

Best customer service experience parts came in faster than expected and well packaged had placed the wrong order the first time and emailed the customer service to cancel order on a sunday replied right away and got me set up with the correct parts definitely my go to place from now on as a first generation farmer and having to deal with many trailers either to move cattle or equipment this is a place of business i can now trust thank you customer service department

This adapter increased my revenue by 25% as now I can haul gooseneck trailers. Highly recommend for simi's that do power only with long slide fifth wheel. I really give it a 10 star

Box was destroyed due to shipping with the USPS, but heavy pce, so its was expected. HItch was as expected, satisfied.

I had borrowed an adapter from someone. It was the same as the one I purchased from you. I made several trips pulling a four horse goose neck trailer with no problems, so I decided to purchase an adapter of my own.

This is a great replacement for a 5th wheel plate. I have different trailers and this saves a lot of time and work would recommend this highly

Great replacement for the Curt Turning Point pin box! Easy to install and took a couple hours since I did it by myself. I had to purchase new 5/8” locknuts as the originals from the Curt install needed replacing. I also had to buy (4) 5/8” nuts from Tractor Supply since the Curt install had nuts welded on the front 4 bolt locations. I used the Curt 5/8” bolts and flat washers since they did not need replacing. I haven’t had a chance to get the trailer on the road yet, but see no reason why it will not pull nicely with the Gen Y gooseneck. It will be pulled with a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 6.6 Duramax and 10 speed Allison transmission.

The ride while pulling our trailer is much better. While there is still some bucking, the Gen Y hitch is much smoother. The install was fairly easy as well.
