Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
I purchased this product for my 2013 Honda Pilot to avoid rear end sagging when towing our new travel trailer. Tongue weight on the trailer was near 400 lbs. I had my mechanic install the Timbren's as it required some rear suspension disassembly before the coil springs could be removed. That was a good call. The install on the Honda is more complicated than most. End result was a less than 2 inch drop in the rear end under load and no weight distributing hitch necessary. Great purchase. Great product.
Product installed easily into 2015 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD. Both sides took a little over an hour to install. I've noticed minimal ride quality difference when not under load, and a stiffer ride under a 430 pound tongue weight but less sag in rear suspension.

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
Hard to install, don't be fooled. I could have done it I figured but [for lack of time] I delivered it to my auto shop for the work. This is a high quality shop with good mechanics I trust. It took them 5 hrs to include replacing tie rod bolts on a Honda Pilot that were rusted on; had to be released. They said whole axle had to be lowered down to install these bags. The upside is these units are high quality (so far) and seem to work well. In the Honda Pilot, towing a 1575 Lance trailer, they are totally needed as the back end settles all the way down with tongue weight. I'd actually like Gen 2 of these bags to be taller too. Your SUV probably will too and if you're reading this you're on the right track to solve this problem. I'd buy these again but factor in time/expense for the install.
Had the proffesionally installed and had the rear sway bar end links replaced when these went in. Don't waste your time putting old end links back if you have to take them out for the install. Excellent ingenious product that can make towing higher weight loads much easier on the vehicle. Highly reccomend having a mechanic do the work to get a factory quality installation.

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Installation of the first side was pretty slow and frustrating. The second side went much better. Dealing with the coil springs is always difficult, and I had a hard time getting the coil spring seated properly. Also, determining where to to drill the hole for the airline is difficult. I ended up using a Dremel to get it in the correct spot. Anyways, the air springs seemed to do their job, and adding 20 psi of air raised the back about 1/2". My wife complained about some squeaking coming from the back. Probably from the coil spring not being seated properly. A week after the install, the Pilot was rear-ended and totaled so I can't give any long term advice.
I am mechanically inclined, but these were near impossible to DIY on my 2006 Honda Pilot. Paid a pro to install, both are leaking but I have not checked it out. Not very pleased at this point.

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle
Easy install in 15 minutes. It did help with sag and I noticed an immediate difference on the positive side. I installed these on a Honda Pilot used for towing a small Teardrop trailer. I am using these in conjunction with Timbren bump stops and am pleased with the results. I was going to install airbags but did not want the hassle of checking air pressure and these being maintenance free was a good option.
I installed a set of 1125 Sumo Springs in the rear coils of my Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid AWD to increase the spring rate ahead of a cross-country road trip. My RAV4 really sags with a rearward rake when passengers + rear cargo are loaded in the vehicle. This impacts the handling of the vehicle and throws off the aim of my headlights, which leads to other drivers flashing their high beams at me as my headlamps are shining in their eyes. Hopefully these Sumo Springs solve that problem. I’ve driven about 50 miles post install and can tell the ride is much more firm and stiffened up in the rear of the vehicle. The RAV4 feels much more sporty and planted. The install was much more difficult compared to my Sienna. In our van, the Sumo Springs slid right into place - it was a 10 minute job and I didn’t need to remove the wheels. On the RAV4, this was not the case. I had to remove the rear wheels to gain enough space to work the Sumo Springs into position between the coils. The fit was also much more tight; I had to really jam the Sumos into place and slide them into the center of the coil (it was a real arm workout). The Sumo Springs also overlapped about 2”, so I removed and trimmed each down with a razor knife to achieve a ~.5” overlap (per the supplied instructions). Install time was about 90 minutes as I had to remove the Sumos and trim them - which doubled my labor time. Time will tell to see if these work, but I’ve had a set of Sumos in my Sienna for about 15k miles / 1-year and they have done just fine, so I suspect these will too.

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
The kit works but unfortunately the bags leak out within 15-20 minutes. I had to route the lines inside the cabin and have my son maintain pressure during the long road trip
The instruction video showed exactly how to install these. Just disconnected rear lower suspension arms and drilled holes for the air lines. Swapped in the top plates for the air bags and put everything back together. They work great. We top them off every couple weeks, but really only necessary to top them off when we are going on trip or towing something. Hitch doesn’t scrape any more and body roll is reduced. Great investment. Highly recommend.

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
The filling pressure limit does the job in lifting. I wish it could stand more psi.
Great price, shipping was fast. Was easy to install. Its great keeps my van nice and level when hauling and definitely a difference in suspension and smoothness.

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle
My pathfinder sagged in the rear There was only 40,000 km on it I bout these Couldn’t get them on, took it to muffler man They had to remove and stretch the spring to get it on They installed it for 500 The rear is about 1,5 inches higher
Easy to install on 2020 Mercedes Metris Cargo Van if you remove tire, clean spring and use soapy water to lubricate coil. Reduced "squat" about 3/4" for ~325 Lb. trailer tongue weight without weight distribution hitch.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
got them on in about 30 minutes, just wanted to keep the front end down while pulling the boat. I think this was a great anwser for that. Plus easier on the springs and shocks. Thanks again guys.
I did not notice much/any improvement in ride. I went on to install adjustable shocks, then a Shocker hitch, and finally a ProPride hitch.

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
Let me start by saying that this product was definitely the solution to my needs. Installation was simple and instruction accurate and easy to follow. I did have two small air leaks, one was a defective bag (a section of the vulcanized rubber seams did not quite seal completely), however I received a replacement a few days later. Excellent customer service from etrailer. The second leak was of my own doing and should be a lesson for all, once you connect the supplied hose to the bag or a fitting, do not disconnect and try to use that same section again. It will not seal properly, so cut off a 1/4 inch of the end then connect again. I even got fancy and added a pressure gauge to my system so I can see the current pressure without using a manual labor. My system holds pressure steadily to 10 psi for months at a time. It drastically improve my towing ability, I had the power but not the suspension, now I have both. The weight of the camper on the hitch of my 1998 Chevy Venture is barely noticeable. Worth every cent. I will be ordering another set in the near future for another vehicle.

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
I purchased this product for some additional support for our Hummer H2 when we are towing our travel trailer. I removed the springs for easier installation of each bag. I am 66 years old and total time from start to completion was 3 1/2 hours from set up to clean up !
Put these on 07 tahoe. I pull a camper and put 400lbs of tools in back of tahoe. With just the tools I noticed it help put more weight on front wheels. I have not pulled camper yet but with just the minimum 5lbs of pressure it helped with the tools. It took me about 4 hrs to install by myself on the ground. The hardest part was getting it pushed into the coil springs. I ended up using a ratchet strap to help push it in. It was fun trying to get the hose connected afterward, could not see, had to feel and take a picture to make sure it was fully seated.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
good ride, easy to install, this is the 3rd set I have installed on my 2018 Tundra TRD Off road, they last 80,000 miles then start coming apart
I would have give it a 5star but the bolts are 1/4” I think it should be at least minimum of 3/8” or1/2” bolts to hold the sumo springs. I like them toed the camper handles very well. Wishi got these a long time ago worth getting. With out camper can tell that it’s there but rides ok. I wanted the same ride it not quite. I ask what the how high they are said 5” with bracket but it’s actually 6” with bracket see picture. I would recommend getting the sumo springs ssr-610-47.

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Excellent product. I have used this brand before on a similar vehicle. Easy install. Prevents sag in the rear end while under load from either luggage or a trailer. Fast shipping. Great price. Thank you very much !!
Super product quality and incredible customer service from etrailer. It is a company you want to keep on your favorites list. I had a bit of difficulty getting the suspension bags to stop leaking, but that was my fault. You have to get the tubing cut squarely or it won't seat properly into the fittings on the airbags and they will leak. Once I learned that lesson, the fix was simple and no problems since. I highly recommend this product.

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Installed on a 2016 4Runner in conjunction with a 1-1/2" Daystar coil spring spacer. Since the coil spacer is hollow, I left one segment of the factory bump stop in place to compensate for and match the height of the spacer. I also added a Firestone T-fitting on the airline for a single inflation point and located the inflation valve next to my trailer plug wiring. Quite a pain to wrestle the coil back in place with the added height of the spacer, but that is no fault of the airbags; pry bar proved critical to wedge the coil back in place since I did not try the bottle jack between the frame and axle trick. After nearly a year, no leaks, bags hold air well. I put 25 psi in them for towing our travel trailer, or keep them at 10 psi for normal running around. I have also found them useful to prevent or at least reduce bottoming out the soft rear suspension that happens when off road driving with even just a couple hundred pounds in the back. Even at 25 psi they ride great and you wouldn't know they are back there at 10 psi. Highly recommend for the low cost and added versatility!
Install was easy on 2014 FJ Cruiser...pulled the wheels off, jacked it up a bit, and the axle dropped enough to allow room to fit the bags inside the springs. I will see how they perform when I hook up my trailer but they inflate quickly and I can see these will stop my vehicle from squatting when the cargo area and trailer are heavily loaded. Another excellent product offered by etrailer...thanks.

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front or Rear Axle
OEM springs not strong enough. After installed feels a lot stiffer and raised the back 2". Material looks really good. Installation done in 40 min using a nut driver, a flat head screw driver and hand soap. I did have to take wheel off it just makes like easier.
2005 Honda Cr-V, they went on pretty easy, it was a tight fit but no trimming required. I jacked the car up on some stands, had both sides installed and zip tied in 45 minutes..

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
These Sumo Springs were easy to install, even for a 70 year old guy. I tow a 7,000lb camper and even tho I have a nice WDH I still had som sag on my Tundra. These helped level it out when towing and got rid of “some” of the bounce. They were really a godsend when I overloaded the bed with about 2,000lbs of pavers. That weight squished the Sumos significantly but the truck drove and rode great. Better and less expensive than air bags.
Pros: Easy install Drastically helps with sag when towing trailers Cons: Things feel more bouncy in the back when not loaded They get hard as a rock in freezing temperatures (i.e. 15*F = no rear suspension) No option to unscrew the spring and replace with bump stop for the winter (at least that I can find, tell me if they make one).

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Let me save you some busted knuckles. If you’re doing this yourself do this setup. I staged the photo so the bumper is already out. Have one floor jack holding the vehicle. The other pushing up on a pry bar. I used a heavy flat head. The passenger side has the exhaust in the way. This method worked out great. If you don’t have 2 floor jacks then here is your reason to buy them!
Great product definitely works, I do alot of driving with family and van filled to the gills from Cistco,Bj's etc. Never had issues with suspension sagging like before. Awesome product, and would recommend to anyone who owns an Honda Odyssey...

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front Axle
I ordered these for my RAM Promaster 3500 because I had heard from fellow owners that they are a worthwhile addition, for increased stability on the road. The instructions are good, and they weren’t too hard to install myself. They are kind of expensive for a couple of rings of dense foam/plastic, but I guess they must be petty heavy duty. I look forward to my next trip to see how they perform.
Install went fairly easy once I figured out the best spot to put the jack to lift the van. Really helped to have an oil filter wrench to get the old springs off the back. Took it out for a drive after an much better cornering and much less effect from wind and 18-wheelers. This was on a fairly windy day. No big difference in softness of the ride.
