Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Very happy with the hitch. Took me longer to install than the estimated time (2 hours) but I am 65 and so is my helper (wife). The directions were perfect. I purchased this so I can put a bike rack on my jeep.

Lousy install instructions for those with a skidplate especially. Curt obviously never installed one on a 97 thru 2001 Cherokee. The instructions were a revised copy which makes it just seem like no effort was made "Twice" at least. But it looks nice, Made in USA, functional.
Great hitch, like the look over square tube. Install was straightforward and easy, took about 30 minutes. Had a few days and already used several times. Feels very solid pulling down the road.

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
My experience has been great. The product is of very good quality. Delivery was fast and installation was simple. I had sold my truck and needed to have a way to haul various lumber items. A trailer was my choice. My purchase was for the Jeep Cherokee. My grandson had purchased a hitch some time before I did and he was pleased as well so it made my shopping easier. If you need a hitch, etrailer is an excellent source. I think you'll be happy.
The quality of the receiver is good. The installation was difficult due to the fact that the bolt holes on the receiver and the holes on the frame of the Cherokee did not line up perfectly. The bolts with the two plates designed to hold the receiver in place while you tighten all the other bolts did not line up making the installation very difficult

The hitch install was as simple as could be. My Cherokee had none of the options that would challenge the install like def reservoir, dual exhaust or spare tire. It took longer to set the torque wrench than it did to bolt it in place. Super simple, super easy. High quality and I like the look of the round tubes over the square one. Very happy!
I purchased a hitch for our 2013 Jeep Cherokee. I ordered on-line; and after receiving my confirmation - I noticed I made a mistake. I called customer service and they fixed the mistake immediately. The hitch arrived ahead of time; and I nstalled it in about 10 minutes. The wiring harness was a little more time consuming; but not difficult. Although; the ground wire was a little short; I had to splice in an additional length of wire. Overall; a very good experience - this is my second purchase; and would continue to buy from etrailer.com again.

Absolutely Perfect! Used it on my new Subaru Outback. Pulled an aluminum 12'L x 5'w trailer with 5 gallon buckets filled with cement 2,600 miles without any problems. Happy about purchase & Company
I have had this trailer hitch for a year now and am very happy with its quality. The paint has held up through the winter months and the functionality of the hitch is excellent. We had a local auto garage install the hitch and are very happy with it.

GREAT website and EASY to navigate to the right part needed! Cheaper prices than I could find on E-Bay too! LOVE THIS COMPANY!! I recently decided to get a new hitch for my 2001 Grand Jeep Cherokee so I started searching on E-bay and found one for a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and ordered it. (FROM ANOTHER COMPANY) Notice I said it was for a Jeep Cherokee. I didn't know that a Grand Jeep Cherokee and a Jeep Cherokee are two different style vehicles so I ended up with the wrong hitch. The order process was confusing. Once that part came in I realized it did not fit and while the company offered me a full refund IF I paid to ship it back I decided to try to sell it on Craigslist as shipping for something that heavy would be a lot! That's when I decided to try to find somewhere else to buy the hitch from and found Etrailer.com. As I said, VERY easy to pick the correct part for the right vehicle, GREAT prices, and quick service! Very happy customer!
I watched the video etrailer's provided, and sure enough it was as easy as the video said. I installed the hitch by myself. On my 2004 JG Cherokee I was able to lay under the back end width wise. By doing this I was able to hold one side up and screw 1 bolt in while hold the other side up with my knees. After you get one bolt in on both sides its a wrap. Only hard part was the two bolts that are under the bumper. If you have swivel ext than no problem. Thank you much etrailer.com!!!

etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2"
Easy to install and much faster/cheaper than trying to find a shop to install. This is our second hitch purchase from trailer, would definitely recommend.
The hitch fit perfectly. I have put about 2000 miles of using it since installation.

Heavy duty for sure, and it's rated higher than we will ever need. However, it is designed to be too close to the muffler and when driven on rough roads the muffler was banging into it. if they had just moved the crossbar another 1/8-3/16" further it would not have this problem. Also the vertical part of the mounting brackets was so tight on the frame rails I had to use a jack to push it up. That made it quite difficult to pull the fish wire through the hole since it was pinched between the frame and hitch. Again, just 1/8" more clearance and I don't think it would have been a problem. The included fish wire worked great. The hardware is robust. etrailer had the hitch for a good price and I will buy from them again.
Perfect fit, excellent quality, bolts and fishlines included. Thank You!

Can be installed by one person. The trick is rest the passenger side on the muffler, while having the driver side on a jack and lift it till it is semi-wedged against the frame. You don't want it too tight, just enough to keep it from moving while you get the passenger side bolts started. You can also zip-tie the hitch to the jack to keep it stable. I haven't actually used a trailer since install, but at least it's there if I do. It would be nice to have the electric plug outside on the hitch, but with all the towing I do, the harness is better in the 'trunk'.
Installation of the trailer hitch and four wire trailer interface were straightforward using instructions on the Trailer website. I use my utility trailer about once a month. The hitch works very well and still looks like new no signs of rust or paint problems. I would buy both items again.

I loved this trailer hitch. I installed it on my jeep gran Cherokee because I needed to tow my boat with it and the jeep didn’t come with a hitch. I would definitely recommend this company in the future!!
The whole experience was great. My receiver was delivered before I expected and the installation was easy. It was a perfect fit. Good job folks!

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
Installed on a 09 3500 express shuttle bus. Used to pull 24ft camper and mount bike rack. Did have to drill frame holes but it was worth it.
This receiver is stout. Great piece for the money. Fit my 2017 Savanna well. In addition to drilling the two outward holes larger to fit the 9/16 bolts, I did have to open up one of the other frame holes a touch but that is more a GM frame manufacturings variance than anything. Can’t beat this receiver for the money.

The hitch installed with no issues. I am impressed with the interaction of the web site and tremendous amount of instruction and consumer protection covered to make the measures for a safe installation. Thanks
Installed on my 2012 Highlander and my experience just like many others indicated the holes did not align on the driver side. It took me more than two hour and at the end the wife said why can't you use the car jack. So, that's it. The car jack will take care the issue. You would use the car jack between the spare tire and the other end of the hitch, push it out until the holes line up and you can insert the bolts. And as others mentioned with a small custom cut on the driver side cover panel, you can re-installed it. The passenger side panel can go back in without any modifications.

B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
Really well made product, installation instructions were clear and thorough, performs superbly. I'll be sticking with B&W for future towing-related purchases after this experience.
The B&W hitch was installed on a 1997 F350 in Feb 2018. The installation was not as easy as described, four holes had to be drilled in the frame. For some reason the mounting holes had not been drilled out by Ford, who knows this may have been one of the last 97 F350 built. The hitch has worked great with no problems. I've pulled an RV over 10k miles without a hiccup along with utility trailers, great quality hitch. etrailer delivered the hitch in just a few days from ordering and their customer service is wonderful. I would definitely purchase this hitch again.

Very happy with this trailer hitch. Price was right and it has been working beautifully for the past year. etrailer.com made the purchase very easy and the delivery fast. I would definitely but from etrailer.com again!
Good looking heavy duty hitch, VERY easy to install! On my 2012 Nissan Murano, I did NOT have to lower the exhaust. I gently pushed in the bottom skirt below the bumper and gained enough room to raise the right side into place after I'd placed the left side (drivers side) where it needed to be and got one bolt started. Seemed to work great. Wiring harness worked exactly as described, but you do have to disassemble a lot of the rear of the car, so be ready for that. Very happy with my purchase, 3rd time I've bought from eTrailer and will continue to do so. Keep it up, guys!
