Hitch was great for my 2011 Acadia. Customer rep’s advice on electrical wiring package, etc. was invaluable. Hitch came in 2 days. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.

I actually got my hitch the date they said it would be here to my surprise. When the box arrived it was pretty much beat up, not the hitch just the box. I wished there was instructions how to install it. Overall very satisfied and will buy from 5hem again

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

The product was exactly what I needed. I have a GMC Acadia and the hitch is under the bumper by aprox 4". With a standard length ball mount I was not able to raise my lift gate on vehicle without hitting the trailer. The extra long ball mount did the trick. The service from eTrailer was excellent. Retail type stores only carry mainstream items so when I needed a special length ball mount for my 2011 Traverse I found the size and quality with Curt Products .

Just what I needed, most receivers would not allow me to open the tail gate on my 2022 dodge ram without hitting the trailers crank used to mount and dismount the car hauler trailer, this receiver give me the extra few inches I needed and it works perfectly, I tried many local sources but they all came up too short, etrailer is the place to go for all trailer parts, they seem to know and sell exactly what you may need

For a 7,500 lb hitch, I was surprised it didn’t have a wedge support welded on where the flat iron is welded to the square tube.

I recently had gotten a new tow vehicle and my 13' trailer was hooked up to and showed a lift to my hitch and back of trailer was lower. I called etrailer and talked with Cathy T who helped me with my problem. Very Satisfied with outcome.*****

Purchased to extend the trailer away from the back of the vehicle, and increase the drop. Initially could not fit in to my receiver, eventually figured out that the end of the 2" square was mushroomed, had to remove excess metal with a rotary tool. now it fits as far as the first 5/8" pin hole. No issues with use - seems sturdy, metal finish seems durable. Didn't drop the trailer tongue as much as I had hoped, but that's on me - I was probably running a 3" drop before, but I thought it was 2".

This review does not just serve my recent order, but all of the orders before it. I have purchased a number of items from etrailer and everything was sent in a timely manor as stated and promised. All of the items I received were exactly as described. I watched a number of videos, read a number of diagrams and all of the help information was exactly what I needed. In other words I did not need to go anywhere else to get a full tow package for a Dodge 5500 that did not have one. I cannot say enough about how this website helped me. Also the pricing was about the best I could find and I did a lot of searching to make sure. This is a top notch site and I will absolutely come back here for my future towing needs.

I am very happy with my trailer hitch receiver from etrailer. I installed one on my 2011 Toyota rav4 for towing a small teardrop trailer I made during the pandemic. I also purchased a wiring harness to power the trailer lights from etrailer and after some doing have it working well. The cost of doing it myself was a small fraction of having the dealership do the work. The hitch receiver is easy to install as there are pre drilled holes to receive bolts in the frame. The wiring is a bit more complicated but I did it. God bless online videos. I'm happy with the results.

Hitch ball works flawlessly with my trailer. Fits our hitch receiver just fine. Has the typical subpar black paint finish that chips easy though. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

I haul a 5.5x10 open trailer w/ a 900 lb. ZTR, a push mower, and a handful of other tools 3 days a week. It is what it is. It does the job, no problem. A little finish wear and rust on the ball, but nothing major. I LIVE ON A DIRT ROAD, which is probably responsible for the wear.

Everything arrived on time and well packaged. I installed a Curt hitch receiver to go with this ball mount. Installation for the hitch went exactly as described and was fairly simple for even a novice like me. Very pleased with etrailer.com and with Curt brand products in general. Couldn't be happier with the process from beginning to end. And the hitch looks and works great!

I would have given you guys 5 stars if it were not for the way the items were packaged. The ball mount and break controller were loose in a medium sized box with out any packing in between. The box for the break controller was smashed. I don't see any visual damage on the break controller its self but, I also haven't wired it in. It would be a good idea to separate these items with some kind of packing materiel so they don't slam around in the box. Other than that the products arrived as advertised.

Great purchase experience. eTrailer has this convenient package of ball and hitch already torqued together, AND includes a locking pin in addition to the normal cotter pin! Website is clear on details of package, contents, and dimensions of each component. Shipping was fast and packaged well. I’m not sure if I saved money compared to buying all this separately, but I’m going to believe I did. Thanks!
