Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
1997 Ford Explorer XLT This will be getting a 3/5 from me. Fitment is good, no issues slipping them onto my original mirrors. They do vibrate a lot though. When driving, really can't focus on them. But overall they will do.
I actually purchased 2 sets of these mirrors. One for my Chevy S 10 and another for my Ford Explorer Sport Track. I regularly tow a 24 ft pontoon boat that is 8 ft wide. These mirrors work very well. I can see all the way to the tail end of the boat on the drivers side. This is the more important side for me. The passenger side visibility is not quite as good. I have to be very careful when switching back to the right lane when on a dual lane highway. All and all I highly recommend these mirrors. Keep in mind, this is a huge object I'm towing. I would not think of towing my pontoon boat without these great mirrors. Someone towing an average size trailer or boat should have great visibility on both sides. These mirrors definitely add a "comfort factor," when towing a boat or trailer. They are easy to install and are very stable. I definitely would recommend them !

K-Source Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 1
I am using this mirror set on my Explorer when pulling my 8 foot wide trailer. It adjusts in height very well. The mirror locks into the edge of the existing mirror and does not vibrate. Well worth the cost.
This was purchased for a 2002 Explorer Eddie Bower. The mountable space on the bottom of my mirrors are smaller than the top, which when you tighten the outside strap it tries to slide off the mirror. As a work around, I mounted the top clamps as close as I could inward and the lower clamp the only where it will fit, on the flat section outward. This re-positions the problem outside strap so it has a better mounting surface. The second problem on my vehicle is that the lower clamps interferes with the stock motorized mirror. I am currently evaluation how well my workaround will secure the product to my mirrors. If the stay put, I intend to trim the clamp slightly to give clearance so that I can adjust the stock mirrors while the tow mirrors re on the vehicle. The product is good, but fitment on a 2002 Explorer is weak.

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair
I would give the product a 5 if they had instructions with the product. Once I figured out how to install, I was happy with the way they fastened and they worked very well.
Had no options for extended mirrors on my explorer to pull my new 8.8 wide 26 ft enclosed trailer, after really pretty easy getting them on I could then see own both sides or the trailer , did the trick for me and the great part is when you call etrailer and explain things they are very knowledgeable and get it done

Beware of buying anything from etrailer! I ordered these mirrors and they do not fit. I had two etrailer employees tell me that based on the pictures I sent them that they do fit! Only one strap is holding the mirror on as the second strap slides off the car factor mirror.
These mirrors work wonderfully! I put them on a Ford Explorer and they stay put. I tried another type and they would not stay. These are perfect. They ratchet down and don't loosen up.

CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
Clips do not fit between mirror and housing. While driving the vibration in mirror makes it difficult to see things. Difficult to adjust to proper angle.
Just 'ok'. Mirror is fairly small and bounces too much.

every thing was great will keep using you guys
The mirrors appear to be pretty sturdy. The actual mirror seems a bit small, but I have not used the mirrors yet to tell if the mirror size is actually adequate or not. The clamps are nicely machined and not one bit flimsy; they are rock solid. The lower part of the clamp that wedges into the mirror housing is nice and thin, but it still seems to touch the top of the truck's mirrors slightly. But, they still seem to be able to adjust ok, occasionally grabbing the clamp and jumping a little. One other semi trivial thing that was a little disappointing; I had to use a wrench on the nut used to adjust the tube length, and the wrench scratched the paint off of the aluminum nut. It detracted from the fine appearance of the mirrors ever so slightly. I wish I had some exact match touch up paint. In a couple of days I will get to use them for the first time whereas I am picking up my new travel trailer from the dealer out east on Long Island. I'll report back on how well it went and how well the mirrors worked. I'll even try to add pictures.

The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.

I went right away to try them on my truck. I have a 24 Denali ultimate 1500 Denali and I have a couple of cameras on my side mirrors. The straps are easy to maneuver around the cameras to avoid issues there. Good snug fit I have not taken it out yet to test these in real road conditions but so far so good.

K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side
Love these mirrors. they are a snap to install, haven't seen any damage to the truck mirror frames. They do a great job of extending my view around the trailer. Lastly, they look like they were installed by Ford.
I emailed a question about this mirror fitting my 2013 F150 STX 4x4. The response was NO but when I googled custom mirrors another etrailer link came up with a response that it would fit and several STX customers were happy with this model. I'm towing a 24' camping trailer and got to use these mirrors just last week. I can really see much more with the addition of the towing mirrors, especially cars and trucks behind me. Drove local roads and highways. For the money this is one extra safety feature for towing! And when I got home I easily removed the mirrors and placed them in a split bag for storage. Pictures are of my 2013 F150 STX 4x4 mirrors and then with the tow mirrors installed.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Passenger Side
Mirrors worked as intended and advertised. They move with the wind or bumps. Could use more straps or something else to hold in place better.
I already had the driver side mirror and needed the one for the passenger side. I have tried several extension mirrors but the CIPA is far better and stays put better than any add-ons. I really like the CIPA towing mirrors and the price is right also.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!
First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
they did not fit on my 1994 voyager as advertised they seemed like a nice quality part but unfortunately it did not work for my application
I haven't had them on the road yet, but the fit looks fair at best. I just hope I have some warning should they decide to try to fall off.

These trailering mirror extensions were purchased as a gift, however they fit perfectly on my dad's Ford F-350. Much cheaper than factory mirror extensions and perfect for his application.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
I would like it to be extendable a bit further on the passenger side. The driver's side is fine though. The passenger side does not let one see far enough away from the side of the trailer. All in all, I like it better than drilling holes into the doors of my pickup to install huge mirrors. These look way better and are sufficient.
Proper fit, I have not trouble putting the mirrors on or off

Excellent Product…Easy to Install and the instructions were very easy to understand… These Mirrors fit perfectly on my 2016 Ram 2500 SuperCrew 4x4 Truck
So far this might do the trick . A bit concerned on stability after long trip .. we shall see in time !! The passenger side is not as tight as drivers .. again time will tell .
2013 Ford Explorer CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror: Complete Installation
Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Dual View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. So here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me in the factory mirror but you can see me in our towing mirror. Now these are going to help out whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, or even pulling up to the camp ground, or backing our trailer up. Now this is a dual view mirror. The large mirror here is going to be a flat mirror, giving us an accurate depiction of what's directly behind us, whereas the smaller mirror here is going to be a convex shape, and it's going to be more of a built-in spot mirror. Now we're going to have full adjustment on both of the mirrors, being able to adjust them up and down, left and right, and even diagonally to make sure that we can get that perfect angle so we can see what's behind us, making sure that we're being safe. Now even though our mirror's going to mount in between the glass and the housing we're still going to be able to have full control and full access to our adjustments on our factory mirror, being able to go up and down, left and right, and adjust it to any angle we need. Now we're not going to be able to fully fold our mirror in because the bottom here is going to make contact with our door.
DIY 2013 Ford Explorer Installation for the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror
Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. Now, here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in my factory mirror. If I step to the side, you're going to lose track of me in my factory mirror and you'll see me in the towing mirror. Now, that's going to be the benefit whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, or if we're backing our trailer up or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Now, we're going to be able to adjust the angle and the view we get in our towing mirror. We're going to be able to adjust it to the left, to the right, up and down and diagonally. Now, if we remove the set screw from the back here, we can actually remove our mirror and rotate it so we can get a wider angle.
Step-By-Step Installation Tutorial for the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror on a 2013 Ford Explorer
Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at the Cipa universal clamp on towing mirror, part number CM11980. Now here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I move away, you lose track of me. That's where our tow mirror's going to come into play, whether you're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, or even backing up coming to a campground. Our towing mirror's going to have full adjustability, we're going to be able to adjust it up and down, left and right, and even turn it for a wide angle view. Now, if we come to the top here, and we loosen this knob up, we can actually extend our mirror out for an even wider view, that way we can know what's behind us, and be safe at all times. Then if we come to the back here, and we loosen this knob up, we can actually adjust how tall our mirror's going to sit, we can slide it down for a lower view, or we can slide it up for a little bit of a higher angle. Now, we're not going to lose any function of our factory mirror, we're still going to be able to adjust it to the left and to the right, up and down, and any angle that we may need, and we're still able to even fold in our mirror. Now, since we're not going to have anything obstructing our mirror on the back here, we're still going to be able to utilize our factory turn signal built into our mirror. Another great thing about these mirrors is, they are universal, so if you have several vehicles in your family, that you tow with, these might fit those as well.
Installation: CIPA Universal Towing Mirror on a 2013 Ford Explorer
Speaker 2: Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see in my factory mirror, but if I step away you're going to lose track of me in the factory mirror, but you can clearly see me in our towing mirror. Now that's what the benefit of these are whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, or even parking our trailer, or pulling up to the camp grounds. Now our towing mirror's going to be fully adjustable. We're going to be able to go left, right, up and down, as well as turning it to the side for more of a wide angle view. Now even though our mirror is going to mount in between our glass and our housing we're still going to have full function of our power mirrors, being able to adjust it left, right, up, and down, and we are going to be able to fold our mirror in partially, but we're not going to be able to fold it in all the way. Right here is about the max we're going to be able before our towing mirror is going to make contact with our door.
