Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
2010 Nissan Frontier with Timbren suspension components. Trailer is a Jayco X17Z with close to 450lbs of tongue weight. Pictures are a before and after view of the rear suspension droop.
Upon opening the box I noticed that one of the brackets had a defective weld. I have submitted photos. I call the 1 800 etrailer number and had a 1 hour wait time. So I call Timbren direct and they said to send photos of the problem and mailing address and they would send out a new one. The rest of the product seems to be in good shape and looks easy to install.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
Not that hard to install. Took a friend and I 2 hours. Instructions were easy to follow.
I have purchased a few items for my 2020 Fontier e.g. tow package, wiring, electric brake control, fog lights/switch, etc. - it's a 'tweener' year i.e. new power train with old style body. This Firestone Airbag recommended by etrailer.com is NOT a bolt on product for the 2020 Nissan Frontier. The driver's side rear is the issue where with the new power train there is a cannister - not sure exactly what it is...but, it interfears with the hardware. After cutting, fabbing spacers, adjusting brake lines I got it installed - took me two 14 hour days. When it was finally installed after a lot of headsctatching and figuring out how to solve yet another problem - I felt like Firestone should have paid me for all the hassle.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Easy to install and just the right height for my 2013 Nissan Pro 4X that was sagging with a canopy camper.
These things SUCK for the Frontier, they are very stiff. THANK GOD I ordered thru etrailer and not Supersprings directly, ''Supersprings'' seems like a good American company to deal with UNTIL, you have an issue with their product. They will jerk you around and try to sell you 'other' products to fix the issue instead of simply honoring their website stated satisfaction guarantee. If you have a Nissan frontier BEWARE this item may not fit your truck unless its lifted. If your truck is stock it will constantly ride on these and you'll feel every bump on the road. When you explain this to Supersprings they will say something along the lines of ''Just throw some weight on the back of your truck'' Thats not helping me. Thank you Alex J at etrailer for understanding my issue and making it right. I went ahead and ordered the firestone adjustable airbags from etrailer.com I want to reiterate This is not complaint against etrailer rather against that awful company Super Springs.

SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit - OEM Leaf Springs Above Axle
I received the kit two days earlier than expected; which, in itself was very reasonable (7 days). I received the springs on Monday and installed them on Tuesdays. The lift is unquestionably and under load quite obvious! In the coming days I will naturally be testing it for performance, but for now I'm very pleased!!!

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
2015 Frontier Crew cab Desert Runner (purchased the yellow Sumo Springs). Easiest install ever! 18mm deep socket and long breaker bar for breaking nuts loose. Removed factory bumpstop, install sumo bracket and retighten U bolts to 58 foot pounds. After installing both brackets, lifted back of truck up 4 inches to install sumo spring with blue lock tight on bracket bolt, tighten sumo spring onto bracket and lowered truck off the jack. Overall it raised the back of my truck bed 1 inch. Ride is stiffer with no bed roll in the turns. Loaded my 24 foot travel trailer with load leveler- equalizer bars and gained 3 inches (less “squat”.) Truck is level now vs nose high (without the sumo springs). Definitely an upgrade that was needed in 2015 when I first bought the truck!!!
While I’m a fan of the folks at etrailer this purchase was a disappointment. Neat concept but didn’t work out for me. First off, after installed the ride in the truck was unbearable. I had them installed for only 3 weeks and could not wait to have them taken off. Never got to tow with them as the ride was that bad. When they took them off, the bolt up through the middle broke right off. I guess that’s how tight they were between the leaf spring and where the bump stop was. Shame though, I was really looking forward to having a better towing experience.

Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops - Rear Suspension - 3,600 lbs
These were a breeze to install with rear of my Frontier Pro4X on ramps. they fit perfectly, and are a drastic improvement over the rock hard rubber factory bump stops.

TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnects - Lower Overload Springs - Universal
Having been in the auto/truck repair business for over 50 years, I thought this would be a good Idea so I tried it. I could have made my own but it would be a lot of cutting and drilling because it is so many pieces. I used it to add capacity so I could haul my camper that I purchased three states away and had to pick up. I used 2 of the 3 plates because there wasn’t enough room for three. It did very well like that but after I got back I added the 3rd plate figuring I could use the third one by just jacking the truck slightly before engaging. I thought all three woul be needed once the camper was full of water and gear. I am enclosing a picture of how ti drill the springs with using the vehicles own drill press (screw jack) for changing tires. I still need to test fully loaded and with all three plates in place.
The front brackets did not fit my stock 2005 F3 15 the down rods for the anti-sway bar were too close to the leaves springs to allow clearance for these stable load additions. Customer Service told me that they have never seen this problem before, that is hard to believe with all of the F350s on the road. However, I was told that I could use the rear plates on their own.

The product was quick and easy to install (less then 10 minutes). I did a test load and hooked up my 29 foot travel trailer and immediately noticed the difference in appearance and performance.

SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit - OEM Leaf Springs Above Axle
Very pleased! There are two settings, but I prefer the heavier capacity setting and higher in the rear feeling. It has made all the difference in the world with my long wheelbase 2002 Chevrolet Astro Van. I really do not feel that it has changed my ride comfort that much, very little, if any. I always have some kind of load on the van, whether hauling cargo in the van, or towing a trailer, that my ride is still as smooth as always. But, the remarkable thing is, that now my rear end isn't sagging to the ground like it always use to be, even without a load! I'm super pleased and would recommend these springs to everyone for the reasons I've shared above.
It arrived earlier than I had expected I installed it the following day, very easy to install noticed a gain in drivability with in 50 ft on sway control. I haven’t hitched up to either trailer 6x12 enclosed and 5x10 dump but I’m sure it will be better experience. I’ll let you know. Thanks!

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Works Great Really helps with towing.
Great product. Easy to install and a fair price. Put a 1500lb load of wood in my Frontier and it only dropped about 2inches. Did make the front end light thought

These really perform as advertised. I do a little bit of recycling and these really help prevent the sag I used to get when hauling.

Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Maybe you can make out these pictures on my 02 tacoma Pre Runner...Thanks again for the second great buying experience!
Good quality product. Makes big difference on my Toyota Tacoma. Installation is straight forward. However, the instructions are not specific to models of trucks. I had to modify one component as it interfered with the shock absorber lower mount at the axle.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
This did not fit the 2022 Nissan king cab. I did not see that this was called out in the documents provided on the site. I did find the etrailer hills very helpful but also, am being charged $18 as a return fee The ones which I need have brackets and are on their way. Added picture of stock bump stops. Heads up!!
Cool product, will aid with trailer towing. Install was very easy on my 2023 frontier. Just be aware the oem has a bolt underneath it, so remove the cushion/stop and use a ratchet to take off old base. New one has integrated bolt that screws right into the vehicle frame. Thanks etrailer for exceptional service as always.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
The Timbren rear suspension bump stops are the best by far. I installed this unit on a 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma which became an essential item for safety towing purposes. The main reason for purchasing this product was for aided support for towing. This is essential for those who tow boats, tear drop trailers or medium sized campers. The stock bump stops are relatively small in size which is standard for other vehicle manufacturers however Timbren's bump stop are made with such high quality material and craftsmanship. This also helps in preventing in stressing the front suspension from becoming raised which can affect your steering when your towing. The Timbren bump stops also helps in preventing your rear suspension from the "sagging effect" which can cause stress to your tires. I recommend that when you install the bumps stops, check the lugs every quarter or depending on frequent you tow, to include tightening the lugs with a torque wrench to ensure it's torue specification(s). This product has given me peace of mind when traveling long distances and when camping off the grid. Timbren also has good customer support service however etrailer has paramount customer service as well.
HAVEN'T TOWED YET BUT THE INSTALL WENT JUST AS THE VIDEO SHOWED. LOOKS GOOD UNDER THE TRUCK, VERY HAPPY SO FAR.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
After using this product for well over a year all I can say is two thumbs up. I pull a very heavy 3 horse trailer with living quarters and these Firestone airsprings really get the job done. Without a load I run them about 20#. Bump that up to 60# and it's all good towing my horse trailer even on some of Arizona's less than perfect roads. Just back from a trip to the north rim of the Grand Canyon and the road north of Flagstaff gives any truck hauling a load a real workout. Great product, this is the second truck I have used Firestone's air springs on and I will surely get another set when I get my next truck (very soon)!
Very easy install. Instructions were fantastic

Helps my 2003 Tacoma. Only negative little space between top of shackle and truck frame.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
I bought them because I was going to pull a RV but with the normal 200-300 pounds of weight I carry in the bed these things made my truck ride better than when I first got it

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Installed on my 22 frontier. Took longer to Jack the vehicle up and remove the tire than the actual install of these springs. I tow a travel trailer that weights approx 3500lbs truck doesn’t sag. Ride quality is amazing while loaded. A bit on the stiffer side for everyday driving but not terrible. Noticeably less body roll in turns.
Fit as expected and performed as expected on my 2022 Nissan Frontier Pro-X.

Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
As expected air bags for the win! 2016 Ram 2500. Install was easy, took only one hour. Truck rides and handles better when loaded, especially when going thru a dip in the road like a bridge transition. The real test will be my Camp Lite truck camper!
This is a well designed kit. It was easy to install, took about 2 hours. The mounting brackets were heavy duty steel and bolted right up. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was the finish was chipping off during shipping. Still recommend.
What our customers are saying:
"WOW! I am impressed! I called to place my order and real person answered, spoke perfect English, albeit a slight southern accent, and my order was sent within a day, shipped quickly and I had it a few days later. I saved over a hundred dollars over local and installed it my self. I cant imagine how that they could do any better. THANKS!"
