Towing a trailer blocks your rear view. This system brings it back, showing what's behind your trailer in real time through a digital mirror so you can change lanes, back up, and park with a clear view.
Towing a camper or enclosed trailer usually means losing sight of everything behind you. This system places one camera on your truck and another at the rear of your trailer, feeding both into a digital mirror so you can see straight through your setup. You can check traffic, monitor your trailer, or line up a parking spot without relying on guesswork. The third brake light camera also gives you a clear angle for lining up a gooseneck or fifth-wheel connection.
Routing wiring from the cab to the back of a trailer takes time and effort, especially on longer setups. The wireless camera sends a live video feed from the rear of your trailer to the mirror up front, so you get a real-time view without running cable the entire length of the rig. This cuts down on installation time and avoids extra wiring across the trailer.
The included digital mirror replaces your factory rear view and displays a wide, high-resolution video feed. A quick tap lets you switch between the truck camera and trailer camera, so you can check your cargo, watch traffic behind the trailer, or confirm space before merging. Everything stays in your natural line of sight.
This kit is built specifically for Ram trucks and comes with camera mounts, mirror bracket, wiring harnesses, and a wireless receiver. The third brake light camera is a direct-fit replacement, while the trailer cam mounts with a universal bracket. If you're comfortable with the wiring process, you can handle it with some extra time. If not, we can help you find a trusted installer to handle the job.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Brandmotion custom fit Wireless Transparent Trailer camera system with digital rearview mirror. Now, this system has been designed to fit your 2019 and newer Ram 1500. And on custom fit parts such as this system, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, towing a camper or a trailer can sometimes make changing lanes feel like a leap of faith. This system is going to put a high-resolution camera on the third brake light of your truck and a wireless camera at the back of your trailer. So you're gonna be able to have a clear view of the bed of your truck, the road, and whatever is following your rig. Now, so, you're not gonna have to worry about any more white knuckle backing into a campsite or hoping nothing is hiding behind you or hiding within your blind spots. So, with one tap, you're gonna be able to swap between views and know exactly what's happening behind you.
So, this big, bright digital mirror is going to replace your factory rearview mirror, and it's gonna put a crisp HD video feed right in front of you. You're just going to tap the button to swap from your bed to your trailer, and you're gonna be able to check your cargo or get a full view of traffic behind your trailer before merging. This does feature a 9.66-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1980 by 320. And then this truck camera mount is going to mount on the third brake light bezel of your truck. And this third brake light camera is a direct fit replacement, so after you get this installed, it's going to look like it's always belonged on your truck, like it was there when it rolled off the assembly line.
The camera has a resolution of 1920 by 1080 and a field of view of 155 degrees horizontal. And then you also get, as I mentioned, this wireless camera. It's going to give you a live video feed all the way from the end of your rig to the mirror inside of your truck. So with this, you're not gonna have to fish wires or mess with connectors every time you hook up. So with this, you always have a clear real time view, even with a long trailer.
So this, the wireless camera, will mount with the mounting brackets that's included with this kit. And this is going to be the receiver for that wireless camera that's gonna be mounted on the back of your rig. The resolution of this camera is gonna be 1280 by 1080, and it has a field of view of 120 degrees horizontal. Both cameras are waterproof and dustproof. They're IP68 rated, so they're going to stand up to rain, to road spray, and tough conditions. So, this includes everything that you see here, the wiring harnesses, the brackets, as I mentioned, the receiver here for the wireless camera, everything that you see here. Now, I do wanna mention that if you haven't tackled a wiring job like this before, a professional installation is recommended. So if you need help finding a trusted installer, take advantage of our installer locator link that you can find on this product page underneath the photo section. And on your screen, I'm kinda giving you an idea of where you can find that on this product page. So that link will be underneath the photo section above those tabs, there. When you click that link, just punch in your ZIP code, and then that installer locator, based on your ZIP code, will find trusted installers that are partnered with us here at etrailer.com in your area to help you get this installed if you don't want to tackle all of the wiring and the install yourself. If you do pick this up, we'd love to hear back from you regarding how the installation went, whether it was you or one of our installers that we recommended. And once you get this installed, we wanna hear back how this is working out for you. So you can share your experiences with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. But if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Overall, I think it is a good product. My biggest complaint would be the lack of installation instructions. If your familiar with Ram trucks on how to work with the headliner and know where to access a safe 12 volt supply, then you shouldn't have any issues. Otherwise you will need to access YouTube for assistance.
Also, the camera is stationary and it's mounted in plastic. It would be nice if it was on a adjustable mount. I made a wedge to install between the camera bezel and the brake light lens, which now allows me to see the top of my 5th wheel hitch in the box of my truck.
I purchased this for pulling our 5th wheel camper, and with the changes I made, it should work great.
The camera and mirror provide a great view and is much better than the stock mirror that came with my Ram 2500
Condition: Surface Scratches
