This base plate kit is made from sturdy, dependable steel that bolts directly to the chassis with no welding required. The solid design spreads towing forces evenly to help keep weight off the suspension and maintain stability mile after mile. It’s a setup you can trust for long-distance towing without worrying about flex or fatigue in the front end.
If you like a clean front end when not towing, this setup fits the bill. There’s no external crossbar or bulky brackets sticking out—only the base plate tabs are visible. The hidden reinforcement keeps most of the structure tucked away for a low-profile look that blends right in. It’s functional strength with a neat appearance that doesn’t get in your way when you’re walking around the vehicle.
You don’t have to be a pro to get this installed. The base plates bolt securely to the frame using the provided hardware—no welding needed. The kit also includes an electrical bracket so you can mount a round connector plug up front for your wiring. Straightforward instructions make it a practical weekend job for anyone handy with tools.
If you already have a tow bar setup, this kit can fit in easily. It works directly with all etrailer and Demco Victory Series tow bars, and adapters are available for other brands if needed (sold separately). That means you can keep using your existing tow bar without starting from scratch, saving time and effort when building your flat tow setup.

To help you set up your system accurately, the distance between brackets is 22-1/4" and the bracket height is 18". These exact measurements make it simpler to match your tow bar height and alignment so everything connects smoothly every time.
Ratings & Reviews
Well built. Fit good. Fairly easy to in stall.
Quality parts for a reasonable price, fast shipping.
Had trouble doing it online call them on the phone like we used to do it all days and it went really well very fast and very knowledgeable I will do business in the future with etrailer
Had a bit of of issue with getting the front valance to fit back on car. The tow bar should have been a 1/2 to 3/4” lower to fit in the air vent opening, I may have to cut the valance itself to get it back down to where it will fit correctly, I am still playing with it
During installation we experienced some issues with part alignment between the base plate and bumper assembly causing the facia the to need trim back the facia all the way to the painted section. The hood and facia fit is tight.
Great bar for the money. Instructions were fairly easy to follow but at time they did not make sense logically. In the final step lining up the grill was confusing I had to improvise to make it work.
My order arrived in a few days, was exactly what I ordered. Installed base plates with no problems. very satisfied with results.

love it! It's an excellent fit for our 2003 Jeep!
Received as advertised and communication was perfect.
Great experience, expensive, but very g ood!
The finished product is great! The reason for the three-star rating is because the mounting holes didn't line up with the holes on the frame of the 2004 Jeep Liberty. The host came out a quarter inch off. After drilling the third hole according to the instructions I put all three bolts in the nut plate and made sure that all three bolts will fit in the holes easily. I then got one bolt started on one side and then found out it was completely off by quarter inch on the other side. With 0 wiggle room I put all three bolts in loosely on one side and manage to use vise grips to clamp up the other side so I can drill out the holes. I was then able to get the bolts in on the other side. Aside from the fasteners for the bumper cover being different and more difficult from the directions and not being able to disconnect the wiring harness I figure it could have been worse. At least in the end nobody will know the difference. See photos. It sure was a blessing to be able to get it so quick.

Not bad. It was easy to mount, took about an hour. It’s Steel so not much to say with regard to it malfunctioning. Seems to be a Demco, at least that’s what the caps say. I bought it cause it looked like it would fit my inexpensive VEVOR tow bar. Had to remove a thin layer of metal so the connector from the tow bar would slip on easy. Pins aligned right up. Tow bar was less than the base plate so I completed this project for very little money compared to having it done. For a big hunk of steel, its really nice!! Recommend it…
