Is this fixed base plate #e98970 easier to install on my 4X4 2002 Jeep Liberty, than the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # RM-521423-5? There is a video for this installation. i already have a Roadmaster Falcon all Terrain tow bar. Thanks

No, they're about the same. The most difficult part of installing these baseplates is having to remove all of the trim and essentially the entire front end of your Liberty. I have linked both installation instructions below. We've only got an install video for the Roadmaster and it has been linked as well.

I recommend using the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-521423-5 for your 2002 Jeep Liberty. You already have the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar item # RM-522 so you wouldn't need an adapter. If you went with the etrailer item # e98970 you would need to purchase the Adapter Kit item # e98981 to connect to your tow bar.

Additionally, the direct connect arms on item # RM-521423-5 are completely removeable when you are not flat towing so the front end of your Jeep would look as close to factory as possible.
