This coupler pin lock ensures that your trailer is securely hitched and helps keep it safe from theft while being stored. With this lock, you won't have to carry an additional key - it codes to your Ram 1500's ignition key.

BOLT (Breakthrough One-key Lock Technology) has solved that problem by designing a line of locks that can operate with a key you already have handy - your vehicle ignition key.
When you insert your own key into the cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key. When the key is removed, the cylinder moves into the locked position. When the key is turned again, it will rotate to the unlocked position.
BOLT for Commercial Applications
BOLT is particularly useful in commercial applications. Imagine being able to send a crew without having to sign out multiple keys for a work truck, trailer, hitch pins, and equipment locks. With BOLT, the vehicle key becomes a master key. It opens all those locks and you no longer have the hassle of getting to a work site only to find that you've brought the wrong keys.

Dodge Ram Pickup
Super easy to key lock to my Ram key. Trying to eliminate as many keys as I can. As you can see in the picture, I also got the matching BOLT receiver lock.
No weather cover as on their other locks, but it has a sliding internal cover similar to your car/truck door lock. Solid and beautifully finished.

A little pricey, but overall a really nice lock. Both the hitch lock and the coupler are made to withstand the elements. I love not having to carry a litany of extra keys on my key chain by using my truck key to activate the locks. Great product.

I have this bolt lock, keyed to my Jeep ignition key. The self-keying is simple and takes less than a minute. I also have the other bolt products including a trailer tongue receiver pin lock, pad lock and Jeep hood lock. They are all excellent products.
