Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Bimini Top Horizontal Deck Hinges. These are designed to mount horizontally on your boats gunwale, and connect to the Bimini top support poles to give a solid foundation for your support poles, so you can open and close your Bimini top.They are made out of a black nylon so you're not going to have to worry about them rusting under wet conditions, and your kit is going to come with two hinges, two of these bolts to connect the hinge to an eye end, and four mounting screws. The hinges are about 2 1/2" inches long, about 7/8" wide and right about 1 1/4" tall. Now to use these, You will need an eye end. The eye end does not come with this kit.

However, you can find many different options here at etrailer.Com. I'm going to be using an internal eye end for 7/8" poles. You can find that here at etrailer.com using part number 36911703. we're going to line up the holes in our eye end, and in our hinge. And then insert our bolt there, tighten it down.
