Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this dock corner bumper. This is going to mount onto the corner of your dock to help prevent any damage to your dock or your boats. This is constructed of a Marine grade poly-vinyl that is very flexible and durable and it's also going to resist UV damage. So it will hold up well for you.
Give you a few measurements here. This is right at three and one half of an inch tall. It extends about nine or sorry eight and a half inches on both sides. So you can see there, about eight and a half inches. We're going to have about an inch and a quarter of overhang onto the dock.
And then if we measure from where this is gonna line up with our dock, it's gonna be about an inch and a quarter sticking out from the dock as well. The mounting hardware to get this installed is not included. So you will have to provide that yourself, but I think this is gonna do a good job for you mounting on that corner of your dock so that you can help protect the dock and any boats if there is contact made between them. Great product. Great quality that seems very durable and was just the right amount flexible foreasy installation. The best part, in my opinion, was the flat surface design. I had ordered three other corners that looked flat on top in the pictures but actually had a contour that angled up. The corners are near my dock cleats and I wanted a flat surface so that it did not interfere with lines when docking.

I am anxious to give you a review on the product. However it will be 30-45 days before it’s installed. 1st observation is the railing is very well designed and seems to be very durable. I will tell you this, I had 3 questions when I called to place order. All 3 questions were not able to be answered properly and were only read from a “script” answer that was on website and also was told “did I look at the video and pics”. I was a bit apprehensive at this point but I place order any way. From the point of ordering, notifications on payment, where the order was at in the process and the punctuality of getting product delivered to me, YOUR COMPANY IS SECOND TO NONE”!!! Absolutely great web site and step by step process of notifying the customer of the status of their order. Just received product today and at this point I could not be happier unless the product was less expensive.

This was a replacement part for a dock bumper that got damaged when a boat hit it. I found etrailer's website to be easy to navigate and order from. Product shipped promptly. Very pleased.

- Dock Bumper Compatibility w/ a Corner Bumper Yes, the Jif Marine Dock Corner Bumper item # JIF87VR is compatible with the Jif Marine Dock Edging - P-Shape item # JIF56VR. They are both made of marine-grade flexible poly vinyl. I recommend securing the edging every 12" both on the top and bottom edges with stainless steel screws.
