Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Taylor Made Removable Dock Post Bumper. This is going to help prevent any damage to your boat when you're visiting a dock that doesn't have any protective bumpers or edging. It's very simple to use. Just use the included 48-inch long sewn-on adjustable straps to strap this to your dock post, and then you can secure it with the buckle, tightened down as needed, that sort of thing, so it's gonna be nice and secure for you. And that will provide that buffer there so that as your boat bumps up against the dock, it's not gonna become damaged.
And then when you're ready to leave, simply unbuckle it, stow this in your boat, and you'll be ready to go. So the advantage of this is that it's gonna be a lot sturdier and requires less adjustment than your hanging boat fender. So once you get it, go to your dock, and just put this in place and you'll be ready to go as long as you're gonna be at that dock. So this is three feet long and about 5 3/4 of an inch round. The foam core is durable enough to protect your runabout or small fishing boats, so it is gonna give you a nice protective foam cushion there.
This outer layer is a UV-resistant non-marring polyester outer layer. So it feels very soft, seems like a really dense wool sweater or something like that. So it's gonna be a nice fabric that's not going to mark up your boat and it's not gonna fade in the sun. So a really nice combination of that inner foam core and this outer non-marring polyester layer. This is gonna be very easy to clean.
Just use some soap and water, and you'll be ready to go.
