Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Bulletproof Hitches Anti-Rattle Clamp for your two inch hitch. Now this anti-rattle device will provide quieter towing and more stable hitch connection, prevents a lot of rattle and then sway inside your hitch receiver. It is designed to work with ball mounts, tow bars, and hitch mounted accessories, such as bike racks and cargo carriers. It is a fast, easy installation, and I do want to demonstrate it. I happen to pull a Bulletproof Hitch Two Inch Channel Mount, that's into a two inch by two inch hitch receiver.

And basically what you'll do is take this clamp, simply clamp, slide the clamp over the ball mount, or if it's an accessory shank, do the same and then insert this into your two inch hitch receiver. And then what you'll do is after you put your pin and clip in there, you can put this down to where you need it. And then what you'll do is tighten this three quarter inch fine thread bolt. And once you get that tightened up against the bottom of your hitch receiver, then tighten this jam nut to prevent movement inside the receiver. And then to remove it, just unloosen it, and then slide it right off.

This is made, this clamp is made of a half inch thick pressed brake steel construction. Has a nice black powder coat finish on it to resist corrosion. As we mentioned, it's designed to fit two inch by two inch hitch receivers. Now when you tighten this bolt, the maximum torque pressure or torque spec on this bolt is 40 foot pounds. And one note I do wanna mention is that this anti-rattle clamp is not compatible with reducing sleeves or weight distribution systems.
